Merged: Our receivers cant catch!

Chamber droppes 3 balls......

What the heck is the deal its like no one want to hold on to the damn ball Booker also dropped one. Boston was the only sure handed player out there.

Thats one of the reasons they play pre season football. Even great players have off days. McMike last week, Chambers this week. Im not worried about the WR play. I am Really really scared about the Qb play though...

yeah lets trade for randy moss and then trade for terrell owens and then trade for marvin harrison and then draft braylon edwards...

chambers dropped a ball?!?!?! My god! Let's trade him and put in a rookie WR!! Or, we can put in Travis Minor as the #1 receiver!! :D

i thought boston looked sharp tonite. roasted 2 defenders but gus overthrew him for what woulda been a sure touchdown. i didnt notice a limp, or any favoring of his knee, but i didnt go back and look again, i accidentally erased the recording so im stuck with my first impression

The receivers did an OK job tonight. Gilmore dropped one that hit him in the chest, Chambers dropped a difficult catch that should have been a TD... those were the most glaring drops. Boston caught most of what was thrown his way, except the balls that were badly overthrown.

Chaber had one a hook that wen stright threw his hands and he a booker both dropped easy slant routes as well as one drop by diamond.

2 of them came after a MASSIVE hit, no worries, he will be fine.

A play from earlier in the game cant dictrate your play for the rest of it not to mention a drop by Booker on a slant and Gilmore on a sland and Lo Dimond on a dump off.

 It seems Chambers makes difficult catches easy and easy catches difficult! First and second string issues aside, Welker, Farmer and Mann look more sure- handed than Booker, Chambers, and Gilmore.

Was the Diamond drop the one where Feeley put his entire arm into the throw? I don't know if that was it but Feeley threw a 3-yard pass with all the strength in his body and it was dropped. He needs to work on his touch.

doesn't matter.. if you touch the ball with your hands and you are a NFL receiver..you are PAID to catch the ball. They would say the same thing about John Elway. His reply was the same.. Catch the damn ball! he turned out OK I think....

I know we are stacked at receiver, What is everybody's take on this "Farmer" kid and do you think he is someone to keep on the practice squad or send him working overseas in the Europe league

I just thought it was heartbreaking. Chambers dropped three. One would have been a touchdown; Frerotte overthrew 2 or 3 passes, but it was aweful when he got it right there in the hands of chambers, he drops it. Funny thing is if you add the 5 dropped passes when Frerotte was in, his completion percentage would have been 56%. AJ's was 57%. There was a dropped pass by Lee (who just can't catch) and there was a caught catch by Lee before that, which was headed toward the ground, but it got tipped up, which allowed Lee to get it, so i think that negates the drop from Lee.

My fionce bought me box seats for this bucs fins game, so I drove down from tampa to see the game. Big fins and bucs fan, but fins come first always.
