$33.5 mil over 5 years for a glorified #3 wr with one year of production and injury issues...yeah...so glad we didn't bring this guy in for that kind of money...let him blow chunks with blaine gabberts garbage tail and the jags

Philbin is an "offensive genius" where he spreads the ball out to everyone. Patriots do the same thing, same with Green Bay. Yes it helps having that elite #1 but its not a HUGE necessity.

i've been wondering if miami is in the mix on mario williams considering we weren't spending any real money til the solia contract which if the $4 mil # this year against the cap is correct still allows for us to make a few splashes...but i also doubt that we can pay anything close to what i think buffalo is offering which imo is probably in the $90-$100 mil range...if he was available for $65 mil i think more teams would have been in play...something tells me buffalo has blown everyone else out with their offer and while he's leveraging them right now unless someone significantly raises their offer he'll end up in buffalo...could miami be that someone??? maybe...

The whole entire league and all the media talk about our "up-and-coming" defense all the time, and we are wasting cap space on CB's and DL?
 
I'm glad that we didn't fork over that much ca$h money for him. We'll see if he produces as a #1. He's gonna get all the heat instead of being protected by Dez and Austin.
