Wannstedt said the blocking has improved in on kick and pun returns but Rogers still hasn't broken a big play.
Does that mean Sam Simmons, who showed flashes in the exhibition season, will eventually get a chance?
"There's competition at the return spot, like every other," Wannstedt said. "But I would not say, `Hey, Charlie Rogers hasn't done a very good job in the return game or he's made wrong decisions.'"
