Merged: Steve Slaton released by Texans, signed by Fins

Would this theoretic RT look good in a Dallas uni? If he would, then they could probably justify slamming the two backs together for a RT.

Gives the ol' "two-headed monster" term a new meaning doesn't it...

We don't need to sign a new RB. We need to use the ones we have correctly. But what do I know? Using Reggie Bush in a Marshall Faulk mold the exact same way the greatest show on turf did could be a horrible idea (<distained with sarcasm).

Scratching my head on this pick. Slaton is not what he once was.
Only reason i can see for the pick is the braintrust is going to use him on
ko/pr duty

You guys are all crazy...he'll be a perfect compliment to the offense...one more piece of the puzzle to help us get into FG range.

Another step closer to more riveting fiist-pumps. I like the way you think.

When Sporano fist-pumps in the ocean, it's the sharks in cages.

If you can see Sporano fist-pump, he can see you while fist-pumping. If you can't see Sporano fist-pump, you might be seconds away from death.

Sporano built a time machine and went back in time to stop the JFK assassination. As Oswald shot, Sporano met all three bullets with a single fist pump, deflecting them. JFK's head exploded out of sheer amazement.

A blind man once delayed a Sporano fist-pump . Sporano celebrated, "Don't you know who I am? I'm Coach Sporano!" The mere mention of his name cured this man's blindness. Sadly the first, last, and only thing this man ever saw, was a fatal fist-pump to the face.

Is this true, or is this your assumption? Being 0-3 means Miami is at the top of the waiver claim list.

Waiver claims don't work like a buzzer at a game show with the host telling you "it's your move" after the buzzer goes off. Nor is it like a supplemental draft where you can pass the player off, or select at the time of your selection.

The way it works is all the NFL teams put in their claims before the player hits the waiver wire. They either put the claim in or they don't. The remaining 31 teams cannot put a claim in once the process has started with the first team.

in other words, even if he is claimed by the first team, the NFL will know all the teams that put in a claim for him as they must put in a claim before he hits the waiver wire (if teams want him when it's their turn).. That's how Jason Lacanfora knows that the Dolphins were the only team to claim Slaton, as no other team put a claim in before the required time stamp

I wonder if Bush is injured already and they're just keeping it quiet. We're spending a lot of money on a backup player whose only real role with us will be to fill in for an injured Bush.

Ricky Williams keeps looking better and better. Much like Wes Welker, I'm sure that Ronnie and Ricky are so happy they have left this crappy team.
