dont worry...we wont use him & he'll be cut watch.
This is a strange move. I like Slaton and this would have been a nifty pick up last year. But to spend that kind of cash for someone who does what Reggie is supposed to be doing... I don't get it. If we have that money to throw around why didn't we address the oline...
We can't even use one back that's "fast and quick", what will we do with two?
See if we can combine them into one large cornfed lineman?
Was recruited as a DB to West Virginia.well, maybe Steve Slaton can play free safety?
per rotowordDolphins claimed RB Steve Slaton off waivers from the Texans.
It's a bit of a curious move because the Fins have a similar player in Reggie Bush, but was probably just made as Reggie insurance. Slaton, 25, can also return kicks. Averaging just 3.24 yards per carry on 170 attempts since his flash-in-the-pan rookie season, however, Slaton adds nothing as an inside ball carrier. He's essentially Bush's direct backup. Lex Hilliard holds the same role behind Daniel Thomas. Don't expect Slaton to accrue fantasy value this season barring injuries to all three of the above.
