I said that his headbut was not classy and showed no sportsmanship, not the fact that they were both thrash talking to each other, thats just apart of the any sport.

Yeah Buffon didnt save any PK's, however he is a far better goalkeeper than Barthez. He didnt stop anything all game.

You also have to remember, that even on Zidane's chip PK early in the game, that hit the crossbar, and luckily for France bounced in. That could of just as easily bounced out. So even if he did not get ejected, that does not mean France would of won the game.

It may very well be a part of any sport...but not all players talk trash and the ones that do are showing no class. Materazzi was showing no class.
