Merged: Tim Couch Worth a Look - Why Not?

Don't really want him but i guess it wouldn't hurt to bring him in for cheap.
 
Yeah i heard it ....They also said the Giants are interested......can't hurt if his shoulder is ok y not give him a try out......
 
Dang, I missed TA tonight. I think it reruns at 10 tonight, so what part of the show did they mention it on? Also, what reporter said it?

i agree. and plus you never know when someone like that will break out and have a great season.
 
I heard it too. It said Miami was interested in him. So who knows if that means he is actually being pursued. If Miami was interested in him I couldn't see him turning that offer down. Great place to play football, great coach, great offensive weapons and most of all a chance to start. Wherever else he would go I doubt he would find an opportunity to start. Especially in NY.
 
Any of the "Scout" types have a book on couch??
 
i dunno... i mean he obviously would come cheap and it wouldn't hurt to try him out, but he couldn't even beat out craig nall for backup in green bay, and also lost-out to now-second stringer Luke McCown. What does that say about him?

I also am not really in favor of our #1 guy losing MORE playing time with the starting crew because we would be bringing in someone else.

In other words, i am saying i don't think couch is an upgrade over frerotte. About the only upside he has over frerotte is age.

Im thinking he was injured for that but I could be wrong.
