Merged: Two players to speak against Incognito?

How can you trash a source when you don't know who it is... So easy these days for reporters... My source this, my source that and if **** don't stick, then my source was wrong no arm no foul... Its BS, from top to bottom...

I meant the reporter, although I'm sure if the source was named he would be trashed too.

And while you're not wrong that a reporter could make something up, to assume either way shows a complete lack of objectivity.

Time to release the Kraken, Hallelujah suweet Bebbe Jeebus

Dolphins should change their name to the 'Krakens'.

Sounds like Crackheads or Crackers.

Both more appropriate to the mess this team is.

Judging by some of the comments, I can't for the life of me figure out why they wouldn't want to do this publicly.

The fact is, if Martin had handled this under the radar rather than the unprofessional way he did, things would be completely different.

How do you know Martin didn't try and handle this under the radar? Because Jeff Ireland leaked it to Armando and he says so?

His own lawyer said it. "He tried to befriend Richie" instead of complaining or going to the coaching staff. That's not even in dispute.

I don't know what he tried to do. All I know is what he DID do. However, if he tried all channels and got shutdown by all of them, then we have a far bigger problem than initially thought. If he went through the Phins hierarchy, the NFLPA, and the NFL itself to no avail; then the whole system is ****ed. I don't have any reason to believe he did though, because all of the above seem completely caught off guard by it all.

I think he handled it unprofessionally AND I think Incognito is a dirtbag. I'm not on Team Martin or Team Incognito. I'm on Team Dolphins Fan, and these two douchebags have ****ed up not only my season, but all of the players on the team who had absolutely nothing to do with it, and I believe that is quite a few.

If any of you believe any of this is true, well, its your problem now.

But lets assume, if for any reason, it were true, and Incognito was demanding or extorting money from players and the coach claims he did not know and was not aware, well, then yes, Coach Philbin should be gone.

This right here. Just this right here.

Everyone wants to fire Ireland and blame Ritchie, but NOBODY is talking about that

ex-marine OL Coach

who in all likelihood

is 100% behind this ENTIRE mess

I agree. Jim Turner is the most likely culprit behind this mess.

It won't upset me if Ireland goes. If Philbin gets canned then so be it. But, Sherman & Turner should absolutely be fired.

Well said here.

I'm going to have to disagree that taking money isn't a form of bullying. The quintessential bullying scenario is the bully stealing the timid kid's lunch money. Also, and I don't know if it still goes on, but back in the day organized crime ran protection rackets that basically worked like this: give us "insurance" money every week or we burn your business down. That sure sounds like bullying to me despite the grander scale.

Neither example applies here.

Your first one child stealing from another, and those children have no relationship other than one child is a victim. Your second example is extortion, not bullying, and it involves two strangers. This is not the case with Incognito/Martin, because Incognito did not steal or extort.

I am only aware that his attorney admits they were friends which is usually the case when bullied. I have read nothing from Martins camp that he didn't reach out however I did read his agent claims to have spoken to Ireland about this before it went down and well that is quickly dismissed on here.

I am right there with you as a fan! However I am not going to say Martin handled it wrong till the investigation is complete. In the eyes of most fans Martin was damned no matter how he handled it.

Incorrect on both accounts. The relationship between the two people is irrelevant. You can absolutely bully someone you know and you can absolutely extort money from someone you know. Actually, those tend to be the most common occurrences.
