Former Cowboy Michael Irvin arrested

Former Dallas Cowboys receiver Michael Irvin was charged with misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia after police searched his vehicle during a traffic stop, Plano police said Sunday.

Irvin, an ESPN analyst and semifinalist for the Pro Football Hall of Fame, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for speeding in Irving after being pulled over Friday afternoon for speeding in Plano, the Plano Police Department said. Police spokesman Mike Johnson said he didn’t know what kind of paraphernalia was found.

Irvin paid a fine on the speeding ticket and posted bond on the drug paraphernalia possession charge. He was released about an hour after he was pulled over.

You have to admit, the story sounds pretty much like a crock of BS. He was going to throw it away, hes just trying to help a friend, etc. Cmon man Im just too cynical to believe that stuff. If youre a millionaire explayer with a cushy job on espn why would you put a pipe in your car? He didnt want it in the house? Well throw it out the window the car at 50mph or put it in a trashcan. I wish the guy the best in court.

With the great players he played with, and the amount of pushing off he did to pad his stats. Compiled with his big mouth and past demons, i hate the guy. In Philly i have the Eagle mentality to hate all Cowboys and this pushes me over the limit on Irvin who i never liked in the first place. I hope this DOES cost him his Hall of Fame.
