Dave isn't powerless, he's just going to have to do what his job title says and coach. He'll still be responsible for the players that go out at game time, etc.

I watched the press conference and Wannstedt was there, although he didn't look all that thrilled.

no he did not for someone who really have the best scenario happen to help him keep his job; that being no new GM brought in
