No, this all stems from someone asking Sparano today if he could rule out signing Favre. He said you can never rule anything out. That was it, so any media outlet saying there is interest is poor journalism.
 
If we sign 50 year old Favre then Ireland has completely lost his mind. Favre is WASHED UP and OVER THE HILL. We need a younger guy you fools!!!

Probably stirring the pot but is being pretty persistent with it. Also said Sparano was asked point blank about favre in his presser and said "he can never rule anything out" and " we re-signed Jason taylor and explored Tiki barber, why wouldn't we explore Favre". Unless Omar is making this up there could be some fire where there is smoke.

I never pass on tweets and if Omar wasn't being so persistent about it I would have ignored these as well. Just passing it along the Dolphins would sure become a 3 ring circus in the media.

If Favre can stay healthy, I think he's a clear upgrade over Henne. So why not give it a go?
 
Favre is only two seasons removed from having the best season of HIS LIFE. If you can keep him upright, he's can still do serious damage. I don't see how anyone would be opposed, outside of some trivial personal nonsense.
 
I'm sure this is just another example of how irresponsible Twitter has made jouranlism.
