Just from what I've read in every news article, nothing states any concerns of it being season-ending...And then I'm also presuming it's not that bad when he was at first listed probable and then down graded to questionable. Obviously, it could be worse than what we've been hearing, but I haven't heard anything that states that his injury is that bad. Here's a quote from Saban, he seemed to not make much of Turk being hurt:

Nick Saban: "Matt Turk did not punt on 11-on-11 today. We have to report that. We will list him as questionable for the game. Don’t ask me what we are going to do. I don’t know yet. We will decide later today, probably, and work it tomorrow. Donnie (Jones) is on the practice squad, so he was able to punt today. Olindo (Mare) punted a little bit, too. That’s about it. I don’t have anything else. Nothing happened. We had a meeting last night, I went to bed, we had meetings this morning and we had practice today.ââ¬Â

Yep, I wonder that too...anyone who saw the Canes-Noles game should know how important a good holder is (even if the snap was a little off, a good holder would have gotten that one)...
 
Holy crap, Turk is out for the season? Turk had a great year last year and I consider him one of the most consistent punters in the league. I really hope this Jones kid can match up because remember a few years back when we had Mark Royals? Everyone remember that name? :cry:

Yes but Sage is a pretty capable holder though, atleast from his report in college. Mare however I'm sure would have preffered Turk.

I was pulling for Jones, now he'll get his shot. While somewhat erratic, he can certainly boom the ball. I think Turk did a good job for us, but never great. He seemed to have a tough time late in the year, on the road, kicking into the wind. Not that other punters don't, but I think it exposed his lack of leg strength at this point in his career. Let's go Jones!
 
Turk could also lay the wood on someone after he punted. I hope Donnie can too.
