I would seriously consider trading Thomas and Taylor..
for their sake. I really would like them to taste the playoffs, which are not really in Miami's immediate future. I believe McMichael, Booker, Jeno James, Carter, Traylor, Zgonina, and maybe even Chambers are gone. Remember Miami will get both Wright kids back next year, and likely will retain big daddy Wilkerson. Add Roth, Evans and Vickerson to that group and you have a new DL. Problem is they have so little to next to no playing time. Crowder is a building block at LB, but this will be an area of serious analysis in the off season. I believe Spragan is gone, and Thomas may actually stay a little longer. The secondary speaks for itself. Allen and Goodman may stay, but I see a serious purging at safety. Allen will be there, but he will have a new teammate or two.
On offense, I am ready to find another tight end. And while I would keep Chambers, I am ready for some serious change with the rest. I like Welker, but I am not even sure he survives next year.
I agree with a recent assessment that the Dolphins should reconsider the H-back and utilize other forms of talent. Peele is not the anwer and Rader is probably not much above his potential..
It would take all day to talk about the offensive line, but this is the cornerstone of Miami's troubles. I keep Hadnot and Carey, but not much else. I am seriously hoping Alabi and Toledo work out.
And the qb situation has been over talked about. I will not re-discuss what has been driven in the ground.
