I know that Kyle Eckel is a fullback with running and receiving skills. He wasn't asked to block much at Navy because he was pretty much their feature runner.

Will Heller has spent two years on the Buccaneers' roster. He is 6'6", 250 lbs, played collegiately at Georgia Tech.

Tim McGill was actually considered a pass rushing specialist while at Illinois.

The Panthers kept 4 CBs over Jackson. Former 1st rounder Chris Gamble, UFA signee Ken Lucas a former Seahawk, Dante Wesley a 4th rounder they drafted in '02, and Ricky Manning a 3rd rounder in 2003 who had 4 post season ints when they went to the SB. They only kept 8 total DBs on the 53.
I'd say they have a very solid group of corners that were ahead of Jackson, but I would bet anything that if he were not claimed that Carolina would have wanted him for their PS.
