Armstrong had a good idea and did well with it. Drives me crazy how everybody and his brother had to copy it and now it's moving into non-charitable organizations. Really lessens the whole thing. Wish people could just respect a good idea and say "Why didn't I think of that!"
 
Im seriously thinking of doing this. We can all split the profits.

How about red, white and blue ones with: 'Pat's Suck' or 'Bills Bite'

or

and green and white one with: 'We drafted a kicker in the second round' - i know that's harsh, I like the pick and Nugent is going to be good.
 
yeah... I really want a breatheDEEP one. It's a great charity to support, and would help AJ.

But I haven't got a credit card and can't get one. :(... and I'm from England.

I've got the yellow livestrong, a blue, duke blue devils that says Duke for Life, and a red, Kerry Edwards 04' one...lmao
 
I read the title of this thread real fast and I could've sworn it said Miami Rubbers... and I was all like.......... :eek: :eek: :eek: But yeah whomever came up with those bracelets probably made a helluva lot of money.

oh sweet jesus... how i hate these bands. especially, as islandah says the idea was ripped off from lance armstrong (a sporting god), and has since been ripped off repeatedly by countless others...

about 6 months ago or so when these bands were starting to become really popular the yellow lance armstrong ones were selling on eBay for £15 a piece - so that's $1 for the charity and more than $20 for the scalpers. that's celebrity inspired fashion gone completely wrong.

but my major problem with these bands is this - when i was a wee boy we used to wear coloured bands when we went to the public swimming baths and every hour an alarm would go and a colour would get kicked out (haha... probably wouldn't alow that in today's PC world). the bands you can buy now look the same.


or, in summary, don't buy a rubber band if you want to support your team, buy a hat or something else that's even moderately useful....
