Miami Dolphins 2014 schedule

Pretty great schedule for an 8-8 team, honestly.

PROS: No west coast games. Only one game with a true snow threat (Snow on Dec. 1 in Jersey during an El Nino is pretty unlikely). Going to Denver sucks but none of the other AFC inter-division games are scary. Only two road games against teams that were above .500 last year.

CONS: The aforementioned Denver game. Getting New England in Week 1, since Bill always has his teams up to speed to start the season. Drawing Baltimore in general, because other than being the 1 in 1-15, they always find a way to beat us.

I see 6-10 TBVH. Lets be honest, this team could easily go 1-3 before the bye, then

Packers - 1-4
Bears - 1-5
Jags - 2-5
Chargers - 3-5
Lions - 3-6
Bills - 4-6
Broncos - 4-7
Jets - 4-8
Ravens - 4-9
Patriots - 4-10
Vikings - 5-10
Jets - 6-10

So IMO even if we squeeze out another 2 wins, 8-8 for us. But even so, we all knew who our 2014 opponents were last year and the majority of us saw an even tougher schedule than last year. If we are going to have a winning record we're going to need some divine intervention

Someone should edit the first post and put the schedule there so I don't have to sift through all of this...

Great looking schedule.

This is taylor made for a huge season. If we get a new QB or start Moore, we could really do some damage.

However, even with Tannehill at QB, we could do some serious damage early on. If we ever win week 1 vs the Pats, it sets up real nice all the way to the game @Detroit. From that point we play a tough 5 of 6 stretch. Starting @Denver is a pretty brutal 4 game stretch. We will need to get to those last 2 games in good shape. Even though Minnesota and the Jests to finish at home again arent the toughest of games, Tannehill has shown us what he can do in that position being 8-6 and just needing to win 1 to qualify.

Easy enough schedule that I like our chances to once again win 7 or 8 games. Draft a good QB or start Moore and we can talk about double digit wins with that schedule.

Yep. Our only 2 primetime games are a horrible Thursday nighter with the Bills and a decent MNF game vs. the Jests.

This team just does not draw the marquee matchups right now. NFL office is not impressed with our QB.

Got nothing to do with the QB TBVH. Its as plain as day the only reason is because 7-9, 6-10, 7-9, 7-9, 7-9, 8-8.

Seriously... Not sure why it was merged or didnt garner its own thread.

by the looks of the schedule.......

5-11 would be a very big accomplishment and theres many reasons why.

Meh. That looks pretty much like the Cowboys records over the last few years. They play in marquee primetime games on the reg.

Washington went 3-13. Im sure they have a SNF game or two.

The Jests have been very mediocre lately........ they draw some big time night games.

Even Tampa Bay managed one of the early season TNF games on CBS.

Plenty of mediocre teams managed to get a legit game or two on either SNF, early TNF, or a decent MNF game. We got one legit primetime game....... a Monday nighter vs. the Jests. The late season Thursday night games on NFLN only are a complete joke. Even Jacksonville gets one of those games.

I don't understand why somethings are merged at times. LOL.

Michael Silver is such a douche on NFLN.

Because we don't need two separate schedule threads.

We started off fast last year but I honestly believe this is a much easier scheduke. We could realistically win each of our first 4 games. We even get the Patriots early in the heat before they can prepare for Lazor's offense ... that is literally a best case scenario for us.

Now I just hope our rookie and new veterans along the OL are ready.

With all the new people on the O-line its going to take some time to adjust playing well together. The Pats have not lost an opening day game in over a decade...so I really don't see us beating them down here. I believe we'll be lucky to finish 2-2 after 4 weeks. Like many have said: Its really a tough schedule!
