If kdawg is right, I'm glad that Aikens didn't steal the laptop. But that also puts into question why he was dismissed from the team.
IIRC, he wanted to transfer.

From Walter Football: Miami Dolphins: Walt Aikens, CB, Liberty: A- Grade
Someone in our Draft Day feature begged the Dolphins for more height in the secondary. He got his wish with the tall Walt Aikens. Cortland Finnegan is currently slated to start at corner for Miami, which has "disaster area" written all over it. Even though he's a fourth-round pick, Aikens could end up starting over the anemic Finnegan at some point this season.
ON espn they also said he was a good pick.
I guess we don't have a ton of faith in Jamar Taylor or Will Davis.
Let me tell you something . . . I watched Nolan Carroll walk from off the sidelines, after getting his ribs pounded during the game, back on the field holding his ribs and continuing to try to play. You mean to tell me we have 2 young highly drafted CBs on the sidelines, both healthy and active at the time, and we trot the very average (some would say below average) Nolan Carroll back out there with an injury?
Look, nobody is giving up on Davis or Taylor, but nobody should feel confident in either of their abilities right now. I mean we signed a guy from the 49ers practice squad late in the season who got key action in games before our own highly drafted rookies. CB is a nervous position on this team and I'm glad we are addressing it.
what a waste of a pick. would have liked LB/RB in the 4th
He doesn't have character issues. He bought a stolen lap top from a teammate and then the school punished him to make a statement. He didn't know it was stolen.
