Now that is a vote of confidence I wanted to hear:rolleyes2:
f Miami Dolphins general manager Jeff Ireland and head coach Tony Sparano made one thing clear during the off-season, it was this: They wanted to add a veteran quarterback to the roster who could come in and challenge Chad Henne for the starting job. The acquisition of Matt Moore on Friday left some wondering if he was indeed the kind of quarterback that Ireland and Sparano had been referencing throughout the off-season. After all, Moore struggled a season ago in Carolina, where he completed 55.2 percent of his passes and threw 10 interceptions and five touchdown passes in six games.
Nonetheless, Sparano after his team’s practice on Saturday made it clear he strongly approves of the addition of Moore. Part of the reason is because the two men share a history.

The difference is, Thigpen actually showed physical talent and playmaking ability when he started in KC. More people besides Sparano, like coaches, players, and analysts, saw talent in Thigpen.

Moore's absolute only merit is that he started and has game experience, which merely means that some team's QB situation was bad enough that they didn't have anyone ready at that time.

Thread title should be: "Miami Dolphins coach Tony Sparano's high on something for getting Matt Moore."

I'm sorry, but this signing is pointless. He isn't a capable starter (see Carolina stats), and won't compete with Henne. He'll be out of our qb revolving door within two years; sooner when the coaching staff is fired next year for not getting a real qb.

Moore is the depressing signing of the season.

All this talk about Orton. All of the available QBs available... and who do we get?

Moore.

*sigh*

I watched a lot of Moore and I was very impressed with him and given the fact he was inexperienced and had little around him, he was as solid as could be expected in those circumstances.

This FO can't possibly be serious about this crap!

how did he have so little around him. Orton had less around him and still performed

Is it possible for this front office to sign a player that has never practiced or played on the Cowboys???

CUT THE F_____ STRINGS IRELAND, SPARANO!!
