Miami Dolphins coach Tony Sparano high on Matt Moore

The sad thing:

I think Moore can challenge Henne.

Either way, I'm just holding out hope that we don't give anything up for Orton.

This is starting to become a four ring circus, it hurts so bad to see these idiots continue to drive this franchise directly into the dirt. Is this nightmare ever gonna end????

he went out and got the guy...doubt he would then say, well, we expect he'll probably be pretty much worthless and might even be cut for the final 53..

But there's no way Matt Moore is better than Chad Henne. Obviously, each coach has guys they like and fans say "what the hell" but if you're going to bring in Moore, why not inquire about Dennis Dixon or something where the ceiling is much higher?

Tyler thigpen is where.......backing up somebody else soo.........excactly

And that proves what? Another team was excited enough about him to pick him up the first day he was available. Sparano was foolish enough to have a QB who had physical talent and playmaking ability (something obviously lacking in their current underperforming option) and not give him a fair shot to start a game where he had a starter's full week of preparation.

Im not so high....

Everything in this world is relative, including the NFL. Moore can probably pass a football better than 99% of the people on this planet, but at the NFL level he's just another backup. Nothing to get excited about. You can probably plug in just about any backup around the league in his current roster spot and not miss a thing. This is like running on a treadmill. It gets the team nowhere.
I would have preferred we kept Thigpen. At least he is familiar with the receivers.

All of the available QBs available... and who do we get?

Moore.

*sigh*

Matt Moore? Is this real? Tell me this is just a nightmare. Of all the QBs available in free agency, we get Matt Moore? He's not going to take the job from Henne. No way. Henne would have to fail on his own first.

And then for RB we get Reggie Bush... That is the RB that is going to lead our running game? This just gets sadder every day.

Exactly. What's the logic in signing Matt Moore? Sadly, we all know it is because they failed to get the QB we needed because they wouldn't pay for him. Orton has been in the league for a long time and wanted someone to pay him for what would probably be his last contract. Why can't Miami have some vision? It's sad. This team is stuck chasing it's tail.

Miami Dolphins Coach Tony Sparano HIGH........

tony talks about from his dallas stint and raves about the competition
moore experienced in the preseason
so much so that they didn't give him a roster spot lol

Moore did have a few good games at carolina though everything went downhill for him last year

Moore from what i heard takes more chances throwing deep and this maybe where he can push henne

though im not thrilled at all and seen this show too many times ...

Almost every player this regime signs has a history with someone on the coaching staff.

Further proof that they are afraid to take a chance outside of the box. Familiarity or bust with these guys.
