Miami Dolphins coach Tony Sparano high on Matt Moore

whatever. im just as disspapointed as most - but at the same time - this kid looked really promising in 09 and looks like a orton/penny type QB except he comes at a cheaper price and is young. he hasnt had full seasons with talented teams to work with. i say we give him a chance in camp. for all we know - he is way more accurate and football smart than Henne and he manages this offense. lets give this kid a chance.

But there's no way Matt Moore is better than Chad Henne. Obviously, each coach has guys they like and fans say "what the hell" but if you're going to bring in Moore, why not inquire about Dennis Dixon or something where the ceiling is much higher?

im dissappointed b/c i dont think moore is good enough as an NFL qb. . . but i do not think that moore is just henne's automatic back up im sorry i think moore can and will challenge henne as bad as that sounds. i think he may be more accurate and more smart than henne just doesnt have arm strength like henne. take your pick.
 
You guys forget this also... Deangelo Williams got hurt, steve smith was hurt. They had no TE, Johnathan Stewart did all he could do last year. Moore hasn't been in the league very long and given those circumstances it would be hard for a veteran QB to do anything with that team. Just ask Jake Delhomme
 
Sparano always falls in love with crappy players.

first it was Cobbs, who will get cut after this camp as he stinks. And last year he had a love affair with Incognito who also sucks.

sparano is the one who advised ireland to bring in all those castoff dallas linemen over the years. Sparano admitted to this fact. So the players he has free reigns with to sign also totally suck... all of them... from McQuistan, to Procter, to A Johnson and the rest of those dallas turd linemen Sparano ringed in. Those are sparano's boys.

Sparano also had hard-on words for Thigpen in camp last year.

Now he has a love affair with Moore and watch this guy on another team this time next year. Same goes for sparano, hopefully... somewhere in college as the pro game is way too big for him.
 
The saddest thing about this discussion is that it seems like the season is over and it hasn't even started. We are 1 week and half away from Preseason and we still are evaluating Qbs like it's February this is sad it kills my hopes for a good season. We have a top 5 defense and no QB to show for what a waste of a Defense I feel this year will be. worst case scenerio we flat out suck and get Luck next year and a new head coach. We r the only team 1 week away from training camp who still has no idea who will start at QB that just blows man we should had brough in Vince Young at least he gives me more hope for a sucessfull season that freaking Moore, sparano and Ireland will be on their *** on November. This would never happen to coaches like Bellicheat, Mike Tomlin, or even Rex Ryan those guys would do anything for a Great QB we just suck it up w/ guys like Moore and Thygpen.

It really blows my mind that they didn't bring in a better QB. I mean at least Vince Young has some talent. And talent wins. Especially at that position which is the position of all positions in this league.

Look what happened to Vick with Philly. They took a chance on greatness and they're looking really good as a team for this upcoming season
