Miami Dolphins consider QB change

I see it clear as day. Things are unraveling quickly.

I no longer believe Tannehill is the answer, but I KNOW Moore isn't either, even if he manages to cobble together some wins and sneak a playoff appearance just to get curb stomped like every other lifelong backup QB that guided their team to a playoff appearance.

The last thing I want is Matt fricken Moore saving Clueless Joe's ass to flounder through yet another season of his inept coaching next year.

I bet with a better qb that could execute offense to score points people wouldn't blame the coach for being a goof.

**** people, sometimes players need to be better. If this team averaged 23 points a game (which I think they can with Moore) we'd win alot of games and philbin and the staff wouldn't be goofs.

The one thing Moore can for sure do better is hit Wallace deep. I think the read option running game will suffer some. Nobody believes moore can keep the ball and run. Miller is doing his job though we may not need the threat of the QB running

This is my opinion, I think that inserting Matt Moore won't do anything for the team. I only have to look at preseason and last years game in Buffalo to tell me that. Also, the training camp reports were not good as well. However Tanne is pissing me off because he won't run the damn ball! There have been a butt load of chances for him to do so. I don't know if he is being coached not to, or if he is choosing not to. Either way it is pissing me off! I do think regardless of who the QB is, this team will get better and better after Pouncey gets back, the O-Line gels, and more time in the new offense. The other thing a little off topic here is I CAN"T WAIT for Jones to get back. Wilson has been PATHETIC! He looks like he is playing 2 hand tag out there. He doesn't want to hit.

Back on topic, if Matt Moore does start I hope he proves me wrong. I want this team to win bottom line. I honestly believe Matt Moore comes in and wows us with a couple of nice deep throws and then reverts to pick 6's and fumbles...especially if the line allows pressure like KC and Buffalo. I definitely understand the Tannehill frustration and I want the kid to start making plays and it just hasn't happened yet. If Matt Moore comes in, fully behind him and hope he proves me wrong. I have said it before and I will say it again, I would rather be wrong and win than right and lose!

As much as I like Matt Moore, and think he is better than Tannehill. I don't want to start him. We need to tank this season and get a good qb in the draft. I do not believe Matt Moore is a franchise qb but I know he's good enough to get us out of contention for a good qb.

Go tank on your own time, you know when you're actually professional athlete.

Philbin has been exposed as a GOOF. It doesn't matter if better QB play makes him SEEM less like a goof, he still is one. It's like putting chocolate syrup on a pile of **** - it's still **** even if it tastes better.

Goofs like Brad Childress and Jim Caldwell managed to bring their teams to championship games and superbowls because of superior QB play, but that didn't make them any less crummy Head Coaches, and because they were crummy coaches (just like Philbin) no matter how good the QB is, they never did (and never will) win a superbowl.

So knowing that Philbin is prone to completely boneheaded decisions and shows no leadership qualities whatsoever as HC with average/poor QB play, even if he receives great QB play, his ceiling is losing a championship game. Sorry, I don't need to waste my time with that.

I already know what Philbin is, and unless Peyton Manning in his prime somehow emerges on this team, it will always end in failure with him running the show.

Oh lord.

You enjoy mediocrity.

How do you do it?

Who is the magical player you're expecting will solve this entire franchise's problems? I mean c'mon. No guarantees whatever pick we end up with amounts to anything but another bust.

Again with "mediocrity", can you go buy a thesaurus or something?

Btw tanking is absolutely despicable and no one with a shred of integrity would do it. High level athletes despise this attitude

I dunno what to do with myself. We're on the same side of an issue for once. LOL

Our lives are complete.

Maybe you were actually a high level athlete at one point in your life like myself.

Quitting to gain an advantage is the lowest of the low for me.

I can't stand when they suggest it. Literally makes my skin crawl and any team that subscribes to it deserves to have whatever draft pick they get to completely flop because chances are that one pick will still not solve all of their problems ..... and there are many in Miami.

Well...I don't think Moore wins the Super Bowl...

...but if this change is made, I think the team will be more exciting to watch.

The reason I think the change *IS* made? I think Philbin is playing for his job this week. And I think Moore can beat the Raiders.

And I don't think that Philbin is sure Tannehill can right now. And neither am I.

(side note...I also think Moore keeps us out of the Mariota sweepstakes, which I think is a good thing.)

As a Bills fan you probably remember Rob Johnson. RT is starting to remind me of him. They both look the part of an NFL QB , but are missing some intangibles. Both took/take too many sacks and do not process things fast enough.

Agree and I thought he had the tools to grow just young in the position RT that is. But the more I see him thisnyear he has regressed
