Miami Dolphins Credo Shirt, where to buy?

I think it promotes not doing things that could result in snitching. You know, being an adult and a professional rather than a thug and an idiot.

It would explain why he was shirtless.

Obviously I'm not the only one who has lived this creed, this is the Soldier's Creed - In case you forgot. The implication is that Soldiers live this creed, thus, Soldiers and only Soldiers understand it's meaning. A creed is a belief system - a way of life.

I will always place the mission first

I will never accept defeat

I will never quit

I will never leave a fallen comrade

Soldiers have DIED living this creed. Forgive me, for believing that this creed may be sacred. I may live this creed everyday, but apparently my opinion matters little when our Fins "Resolve towards a common goal" are earning your respect. I'm not attempting to make this "some negative connotation towards the men and women of the Army (Fixed for you)." I was just expressing my opinion. I didn't expect you to agree with it, but I didn't expect criticizm either.

You have nothing to be sorry about! If someone hasn't lived that creed they have no right questioning your belief.

AP — The Miami Dolphins are now wearing T-shirts bearing a credo of togetherness

Sorry if already posted. Didn't see it in the main forum

By ANDY KENT Associated Press

DAVIE, Fla. (AP) — The Miami Dolphins, rocked by a bullying scandal last season, are now wearing T-shirts bearing a credo of togetherness that was coined by the players.
One by one some of the members of the offense and defense removed their shoulder pads Wednesday and changed into the new gray shirt. On the back was a list of 10 sayings bordered by the words ‘‘I am a Miami Dolphin’’ that encompass their approach to the upcoming season.
Among the sayings that bring to mind last year’s scandal involving former offensive linemen Richie Incognito and Jonathan Martin is this one. ‘‘If I see something — I will say something — I commit to call it as it is.’’
Head coach Joe Philbin applauded the gesture made by his players.
‘‘I think the best way to do things is to give them some ownership and let them feel like I’m not coming down from the mountaintop and saying this is a must and this is a mandate,’’ Philbin said. ‘‘I thought they did a good job. I thought they gave some consideration and some thought to it and I think it’s good. Probably ‘I’m a professional,’ is one of them I like. But I think I like them all. They’re all good, but that one sticks to me. It’s kind of all encompassing, entails a lot. ‘Team first,’ too. Maybe I like team first better. I’m trying to picture the T-shirt.’’
Considering that Philbin has come up with plenty of his own rules, he joked that some of the players think he has too many and that he’s ‘‘a little stiff.’’ He had approached a group of veterans during the offseason to emphasize his desire for them to take ownership of the team. The idea for an official credo came naturally.
Defensive end Cameron Wake, a three-time Pro Bowler, had showed off a T-shirt last year in the locker room that he and other members of the defense designed specifically for defensive players. That one was adorned with the words ‘‘Respect The Brotherhood’’ on the back surrounding a military style logo, so he was probably a good person to go to with the new shirt.
Fellow defensive lineman Jared Odrick also was one of the players approached by Philbin.
‘‘I think it means a lot,’’ Odrick, a first-round draft pick in 2010, said of the T-shirts. ‘‘I think it gives us a visualization, something that we see every day, to try to embody every day in the locker room and onto the field. It’s something that helps because you’re there reading on everybody’s shirt. And it’s words that we’ve actually said. It’s words that have come out of our mouths.’’
Notes: Wide receiver Mike Wallace and center Sam Brenner both were kept out of practice. Brenner was carted off the field Tuesday during practice. The two players joined Pro Bowl center Mike Pouncey and free agent running back Knowshon Moreno as spectators. Pouncey is recovering from hip surgery that is expected to cost him at least the first month of the regular season and Moreno is coming off of knee surgery.

Yes they have and I respect that just as much as any other veteran my friend. HOWEVER......it is NOT the soldiers creed that they put on a shirt!!! All they did was probably get their idea from it. If they used the actual Army creed I wouldn't like it either. You guys are getting your panties in a wad like it was some sort of disrespectful dig at the army.

Quit taking everything so personally. and for your information....I am a Veteran of Desert Storm so before you start typing something telling me that I don't understand, know that you are WRONG!

So what leads you to believe I haven't lived it? Because you may have, it gives you the fortitude to pass judgment on what I or someone that doesn't necessarily agree with you has or hasn't been through?

Well....it doesn't.

Yeah, I really couldn't care less that they built their credo (or whatever) around the Soldier's Creed. I'm far more concerned about whether they can live up to it. I highly doubt some can.

I'm confused.

Are people upset that this resembles a military creed?

They did not simply "get their idea" from the Soldier's Creed. It is close enough to the Soldier's Creed that if I were still a teacher and this were done for an assignment I'd have dinged them for plagiarism.

If I thought they could live up to it, it'd bother me less, but given that this franchise has been a clown show for some time, it trivializes something very important to myself and thousands of other Soldiers.

First off you are not the only one in this thread that spoke out against those people that took issue with those that don't like the shirt. If you have served and don't take issue that is most certainly your right, just as it is his to take issue with it. I think we can all agree that there is a huge difference between someone who lives by that creed and the meaning is putting on a Kevlar helmet, strapping on his kit, grabbing his riffle and heading down range. Opposed to a village full of idiots, that are looking for something to save face because they got caught acting like clowns.

My thoughts are today what they were when this thread came out "roll my eyes and shake my head". They don't need a creed, they need to grow up, act professional, respect their teammates, and win. Ironically enough Cam Wake who was interviewed is the last one who needs a creed!

I know who my money is one.
