Miami Dolphins might trade back up for at least two players

if we drafted jack and put him at mike unless he physically can no longer handle the athleticism requirements of wolb we are freaking ******s

Myles Jack is the best player in this draft. Sometimes you just have to make a move, to WIN.

I read on Rotoworld there are rumors of him possibly needing micro-facture surgery in the near future. If that's what your team doctors see, you have to red flag him medically. You can't take that chance when there are a ton of other holes that need to be filled on this roster.

jadaveon clowneys been trying to come back from micro for going into 3 years now and hes still not back to old form and may never be

Everything you read this time of year is usually bull****. Don't put stock in anything being said by anyone. I know you know that I'm just stating a obvious for others.

Don't. Believe. Anything.

so you guys think jacks gonna drop all the way to 10 without serious legit medical concerns being the driving force huh? just fabrications I guess

nope

Ya But its the "usually" you still need to be aware of...

Todd Gurley says, "Hello"

Stupid comparison.

Gurley has only played one season and it wasnt even a full season so we have no idea if it'll hold up for a career.

Rams did not trade up for him so they did not give up additional picks, as i said perfectly fine with taking him at 13 despite injury concerns but he doesnt warrent extra picks.

Gurley had no future concerns about his injury. Yes there was concern whether he'd return to full strength but there was no future "death mark" on gurley. Doctors did not claim that he is in further liability of injury like jack is. I have no problem with taking a chance on a bum knee. Todays medical advances make it so theres no huge concern. However add in the loss and decaying cartilage and you have a much bigger problem.

Yeah.....that's great talk IF it turns out right and he doesn't wind up with that nagging injury or a short career because of it. I'm sick of "taking a chance" on injured drafted players who "may" turn out to be studs. The Devante Parker experiment is still a question and hopefully we'll know this year but we have to take players without any pre existing major injury concerns and stop coming out of the draft and into another season with question marks about their ability to play or stay healthy.

As far as our moron FO......so we trade out of the #8 pick down to #13 (for 2 players also of questionable health/playing concerns) only to now possibly attempt to trade back up to where we were or higher giving up more stuff to do so......it is both tragically sad & hilarious if we do this and by no rational means should they even consider it since only a fool would make such a horrible decision .......which means we will and be fleeced thoroughly by the competent FO of another team.

nah we are past the bs period...its draft week...some of this stuff coming out is legit

like I bet those chondral defect reports are legit

Oh, I read everything skeptically. That's why I said you have to trust your doctors, their evaluations, and draft accordingly. But if he beings to slip, you'll know why. Teams who need a lot of help just can't take the risk of their 1st round pick being a bust because of injury.

You could be right and then you could be just as wrong. If even one of the two questionable players work out we've made a very good trade. If both turn out to be solid starters you should friggin go to Davie and throw T-bombs a party. Move back still get one of the top level CB's and have two solid starters.....for what 5 spots, it could be the steal of the draft...But for Gods sake at least see what happens before you judge it a terrible move........

While it may be true or bs there is probably some truth to it. Question is who is right? One team may flag the knee and say he needs surgery while another team doctor thinks the knee wont be a problem and he's on the right track towards recovery. You just have to hope your team doctors are right. Case and point drew brees. Our doctors flagged brees and thought culpepper was the safer choice, saints didnt and turned out great for them.

He is but with the injury its not worth it. Worth the risk at 13 but giving up more picks for an injured player doesnt make sense

There are really few players who are NOT injured in some capacity. Football is a violent sport. I played it from the time I was 7 all the way up to college and semi-pro. There is no way to NOT be injured in the game of football. I am willing to bet that 90% of the players in the draft have dealt with/ or are dealing with injuries.

Marino even had injuries before we drafted him.

If there is any truth in the rumor, the Fins are admitting very quickly that the trade was a mistake.
No more trades, we end up with mediocre/injured/potential starters than don't pan out/ garbage and watch the other teams take players we could have drafted go on to pro bowls.
