as we get closer to draft weekend I thought I would post our drafts from 1997 to 2006 to look back and reflect upon. You will see some good picks (jason taylor in the 3rd rd, Rex Hadnot 6th) and you will see a lot of bad picks.

just thought It would be cool to look back and talk about it.

Very nice work indeed. It is nice to see us get back that many draft picks. Seems like we were getting less than 6 or 7 for a while there. Haven't had this many pics dating back to 98.....I think we will get some good picks or some decent deals with the picks depending on what happens in this draft.

There is the problem right there. Plain as day.
2 QB's in 10 years. John Dutton and Josh Heupel. And they were both in the 6th round. That is absolutely ridiculous. Maybe we should draft 2 guys this year to better our chances of success. LOL

Those drafts are pathetic.

Wow...these drafts for the most part are really bad. Jason Taylor sticks out as does the 2005 draft.

This is why we are in the mess that we are. We have always relied on FA which costs a lot more money and you don't develop young players. Don't sell our future away and start making good sound picks. And please, do not listen to all of us on the posts as we need our day jobs!
