I'll take a minority position and say that Tannehill needs to play about one quarter. Week 1 against the Patriots is arguably the biggest game of the year. It's a home game at 1:00pm in September. It's the best scenario one could have hoped for, and a loss would immediately indicate that winning the division is out the window. I would not be comfortable if a horrible interception is Tannehill's last play going into that game. If he could execute a successful drive, especially playing with second string skill position players, it would potentially help his confidence going into the New England game. The reward is worth the risk in my opinion.
