"Miami got the right guy"

We got the right guy who surrounded himself with good people.

That's a great sig andyahs.:hump:

Dansby was no where to be seen on Hard Knocks. That comment that Sid sqeezed out of him quitely went away.
Never good to bite the hand that feeds you. Chad will soon just be a memory. Probably a good thing in the long run.

They say the mark of a good leader is the people he surrounds himself with. So far so good.

Campbell , Turner , Sherman and Coyle all seem like winners to me.

Dan Sileo was stirring up more controversy about Philbin losing the locker room. He was ranting about Karlos Dansby and his apparent disagreement with the Johnson decision. I shut my phone off after listening to him talk about Philbin and Ireland creating a divided locker room. Philbin did what he thought was right, Johnson was here for the side show he couldn't get in NE. The vets should get the message by now Philbin runs the team, not them.

I just listened to the Ben Volin interview with Dan Sileo and he is still going off on Phlbin. Says that cutting Johnson has created a divided locker room and that players are scratching their head because Philbin hasn't proven anything as a head coach.

If Philbin is losing the locker room then those who are lost need to go. This guy is finally changing the culture for the better and if the vets don't get on board then kick their ass ashore.

I pray he is as good on game day as he has been thus far.
This X 1000

If any player is this upset over a guy who never played 1 down for the dolphins they need to go. This Philbin's team and he is going to get his chance. I hope he is successful but i have no problem with him kicking any player to the curb for whatever reason. We don't need anymore distractions , deadbeats or bums. Hail to Joe!

I hope that Sileo's wife gives him herpes that she caught from a condom-less Ocho Stinko.

Sileo is terrible as an interviewer. I liked him as a player for the U but he was not all that. Nubs team kicked his butt for the national title.

I don't know that I've ever seen so much attention bestowed on a team for cutting such an immature, ineffective, cosmic sideshow as Chad Johnson. If there's a team out there that believes he can help them, they need to sign him pronto.

None of these players have proven anything either, other than the ability to lose and get coaches fired.

Either follow Chad Johnson down the road and see where that gets you, or fall your ass in line and worry about playing for the man next to you. It don't get any clearer than that.

Winner. I will care about what some of these players think when they can actually win double digit games in one season.

Coach seems like a genuine leader and not someone with his chest stuck out saying my way or the highway.

Sherman was great when he blasted the offense and berated the tightends. Let Philbin be the good cop.

Can we just suit up the tight end coach ?

I was getting ready to disagree with you about the philosophy of the HC playing good cop, then your sig distracted me ...

What were you saying, again?

I feel bad for Leslie Frazier, that roster is pretty piss-poor right now outside of a hurt AP and Jared Allen. Harvin is talented but he's still not a true #1 WR.

Looks like Spielman is well on his way to destroying another franchise...

For that matter ... As soon as the players prove they can be winners, I'll give that some credibility.

This.

****ing A!!!

There is a lot of national and local praise for Philbin tonight. Omar on the other hand thinks Philbin could be losing the locker room, especially the veterans.
So what, its not as if these veterans are part of any winning tradition. Shula came to the team in the late 60's and kicked butt and turned the team's mentality into a winning one. If the vets don't like the discipline, let them ask for a trade.

I liked the Philbin signing from the beginning. He came from one of the best organizations in the history of the game. As for the veterans and that locker room division crap, let em leave if they don't fall in line. Dansby hasn't lived up to his $43M contract so he should shut his mouth and play. Philbin and his crew look competent, and that it more than I can say about any of our past few coaching staffs.

I especially like Sherman as our OC. His best line in hard knocks was when Tannehill throws his TD and they realized they didn't run once on the drive and he says, "I'm watching too much Packer film."

Good. Lose the veterans who wil not buy in. The Dolphins need a culture change. This is the only way to do it. Show them the door - fine by me.
