Looks like Miami will be about middle of the pack as far as strength of schedule (SOS) goes based on last years records. Obviously teams change year to year, but here is the info.

Well you do realize that we lower N.E.'s SOS and they raise ours?

The reason NE plays the weaker teams is because we are the weaker teams (Fins, Bills, Jets) twice a year.

Yep...the same goes for the Bills and the Jets. I remember when the AFC East was the toughest division to be in...now we are little better than the NFC West...

Who cares? Let's see the sked and see what happens during the year.

Exactly.

I wouldn't play too much attention to it anyway, Denver for example went 8-8 last year and got in the playoffs, usually number 1 seeds are better off than that. Also it doesn't take into account teams which will be much improved like the Colts and Broncos themselves with Peyton now there. Look at their 14 game schedule (not including the games where we play eachother) on paper and then ours, I know they are very similar but give me ours.

don't lump us in w/ you guys and the Bills.

Why?

You realise this guy is your OC right?

I hope everyone realizes that the SOS numbers are less than one games difference in terms of strength of schedule. If anything with Miami and Buffalo taken out of the equation NE has a tougher schedule.

In fact first to last over the entire NFL is less than 2 games in terms of SOS percentage, pretty good balance to be honest considering how many teams suck, I mean you had 21 teams at 8-8 or less.

Despite the OC and OL coaching, the cancerous lockerroom, the 2 least accurate QBs in the league and a bozo whose mouth writes checks his azz can't cash, nevertheless, I still don't think you're giving your team enough credit. :idk:

Division winners New England, Pittsburgh/Baltimore, Houston, and Denver

wildcards Baltimore/Pittsburgh and Cincinnati, Tennessee, or San Diego

No jets get over it
