Miami has the hardest SOS in the AFC East, 18th Overall

Not really.

If I gave enough of a **** to look up proof I could find at least 3 different threads that would show you. Seeing as I don't care and you wouldn't acknowledge it anyway, there's no point.

Yes, but the problem is that he's incorrigible. He's a broken record, he's never going to change. But the problem would go away if it weren't for the fact that the Dolphins fans on this site feel compelled to constantly engage him in what always amounts to the same thing--
"Jets suck"
"Jets don't suck, they're better than the Dolphins."
"Yeah, well they still suck."
"No, here's a million and one reasons why they don't suck, and anyway they're still better than the Dolphins."
"Jets suck."
etc, etc, etc...

Most of us are all-too familiar with how this record plays itself. It's entertaining to say the least

so then why are you discussing it?

LMAO@ the latest "soft spoken Accountant" (in the Bill Walsh mode) spin.

Of course compare this to the buffoonish outcome of obvious multi-generational inbreeding and the functional illiteracy at the offensive controls. Too ****ing funny. :idk:

in the Bill Walsh mode, oh boy:lol: I can't wait to hear the excuses for failure in a few years like we saw w/ the "great" Tony Sparano:lol:

It's been correct more ofthen than it hasn't been. I think it will be better than the soft spoken accountant you have as a HC and we know it's better than Grandpa Gailey in Orchard Park.

 Lets see, in 2009 he states that the Jets are mathematically eliminated from the playoffs and then several weeks later says they should be the favorites to win the Super Bowl. Wrong on both accounts.

2010 Says he sees a Super Bowl trophy in his crystal ball. Wrong!

2011 Says this time he knows the Jets are going to win the Super Bowl. Wrong!

2011 Says that the Jets are better than the Giants and the Jets will beat them:

“I have news for you. We are the better team. We’re the big brother. People might say they are the big, bad Giants, but we are not the same old Jets. … To me, it seems clear that right now we are the better team and we are going to remain the better team for the next 10 years. Whether you like it or not, those are the facts, and that’s what’s going to happen. I know it’s going to happen because our style of football is different. We are going to take over the town whether the Giants like it or not, so those fans on the fence that like both teams are going to be Jets fans in the end. The truth is, if I am going to watch one game, I am going to see the Jets, without a doubt. We are better.”

Wrong!

2011 Says the Ravens will beat the Patriots in the AFCC game. Wrong!

He did say the Giants would beat the 49ers in the NFCC game, so that is 1 out of 6. :lol2:

I don't know what to expect out of Philbon, but I'll take a humble and soft spoken coach over a load mouth buffoon who can't back up what he says.

he's not batting 1,000 but he's doing ok and the Jets were better than the Giants 2 of his 3 years.

the loud mouth coach has elevated his team to one of the best in the league, you'd be doing cartwheels if any coach could do that for you. In a perfect world I don't prefer my coach to talk so much but I love Rex, he's the best thing to happen to this franchise in all my years following this team.

He has not elevated the Jets to be one of the best in the league. I know they went to two AFCC games with Rex and that is a lot for Jets fans, but they couldn't even win 9 games on their own in 2009, and won 8 in 2011. 2 out of 3 seasons the Jets were realistically an 8 win team in the regular season. Far from the best in the league. It is great that they made it to the AFCC games (you know my take on how they made it) but 8 win seasons won't get you in the playoffs very often in the AFC.

We will see how much you like Rex after a couple more years. I'm not certain he will still be coaching the Jets after that.

Here's one I just happened to remember from no more than 3 weeks ago

Nice try but the FIRTS post mentions Sanchez. Keep trying

The jets hadn't been to a title game since 1998 and only made 2 in their existence
The Jets hadn't been to the playoffs ince 2006
The Jets hadn't won a playoff game since 2004

In the 3 years under Rex:

The jets are the ONLY team to reach 2 conf title games
The Jets are tied for the MOST playoff wins
They have 4 ROAD playoff wins

and did it all w/ a 1st and 2nd yr QB

I would have given you the benefit of the doubt but since you're wrong 90% of the time I figured you were wrong about who derailed this conversation so I looked back.

The first off topic comment was post #8:
don't lump us in w/ you guys and the Bills.
This post was completely off-topic.

Every post before that spoke directly about the schedule, the strength thereof or attempted to shed some light as to why the SOS is deceiving before the season starts.
