Miami reaches out to OT Jedrick Willis

He this guy been that bad or has he just been disappointing because he was a top 10 pick?
Yes.

This would be a pure lottery ticket, because while he fits the size profile, he has been consistently overmatched playing on the left side, save for a few games in 2021. He's also missed a ton of games with injury, going the distance only once in his 5 seasons. There's a reason he's available IMHO, and if Grier had invested enough in the trenches over the years, we wouldn't be one of the teams in the mix for him. As it stands, I wouldn't be opposed to a minimal deal for him to compete to back up Jackson, but I'd be only slightly above Larry Borom-level excited about it.

In 2022, Butch Barry was with Denver. We had Matt Applebaum. He was fired after the season. The experts among the fan base were begging for us to hire Mike Munchak. They were apoplectic when Barry was hired.
I meant 2023. That year the offense was rolling with a healthy OL even though many said the OL was be horrible.

Grier is hoping that these vets out there are getting desperate enough to agree to the low ball offers he has on the table. We know the CB from Buffalo got an offer. Wouldn't surprise me if a vet guard also has an offer.
Grier Outsmarts himself constantly, and cant find a way to creatively sign anyone of worth

Wills sucks. Hard pass. I'd rather take a chance on a youngster rather than bringing this bum in.
