Mike and Mike

Oh yeah, and by the way, we added Burnett to our D. This was not a flashy signing, but it was a damn good one. He gives us so much more than Crowder did. He can not only play the run well, but he also has the speed to cover those damn TE that have been killing us in recent seasons. I do believe that Burnett led all MLB in sacks last year but I could be totally wrong on that one.

I live in NY surrounded by Jets fans. There is no arguing with them. According to them, the Jets are the best team in football and have been for the last 3 years. They are undoubtedly going to win the superbowl this year. Sanchez will be a top 5 QB. Blah blah blah blah. They haven't won anything in years. We at least won the division in 08. True, they made it to the AFC title game, but they did not make the Superbowl. In other words, they haven't won anything in a looong time.

This year there is no way we are a 3-4 win team. Like someone said earlier, our D alone is good for a few wins. We also have Bush, Marshall, Bess, the best LT in the game in Long, and a better line than last season. How could two guys (Mike and Mike)who have a radio show be that ignorant in their predictions. You know what, good, let people think we suck. Then we can be underestimated and come out and win 10-11 games and make the playoffs.

yes, at least you won the div before being humiliated in the WC rd at home while we have done nothing:rolleyes2:

You guys aren't a 3-4 win team clearly and we are an AFC title contender clearly.

:hclap: I agree!!!

I just don't understand how/why talking to another coach in the offseason is going to make us lose 3-4 more games than we did last year... Interestingly enough, Liam's mum went with us going 11-5.

So 6 isn't the worst then?

I think we're a 6-10 team on paper, if sparano loses the locker room, which he may have already, we're down to 4-12. Throw in a catastrophic injury or 2 and we're in the race for Luck.

Hmm, how are we on paper a 6-10 team? The Defense will be better this year just with the addition of Odrick, and Edds, add to that a better inside LB (Burnett instead of Crowder), a logjam of quality corners competing few positions, actual competition from some young talented safeties, and old or not, JT is still a major pass-rushing headache for any offense, especially on a defense that will have Wake coming from the other side.

On Offense, Miami will have more options, with more weapons (Bush, Marshall, Bess, Hartline, Thomas, Fasano, Gates, Clay), a better spreadout multi-receiver Offense to give Henne more options, not just 2 receivers, and better O-line just with the option of having healthy bodies in there, and a new talented Center/Guard Miami got in the draft.

Miami went 7-9 last year with less option at defense and Offense, injury riddled O-line, 2 RB that were were far from the normal selves, an OC that intead of helping his QB, hurt his QB from growing with his offense, yet some think this team is a 2-6 win team on paper...really?

Liam's mom has a better prediction record than either Mike.

I hope they are wrong, but without a quarterback and a tough schedule a bad record is possible. If they are that bad and wind up with Andrew Luck.

They had the same 'bad quarterback' and tough schedule last year and went 7-9. Explain how they will go 3-13 or 4-12 based on your and ESPN's logic.

People talk. Nothing new there

They overstated the wins for other bad teams and the total wins have to balance out.......They used the Fins as a way of propping up teams like the Lions and Texans, etc.............

Your receivers are a guy who's been laying in jail all day with 3 hots and a cot, an AARP member, and a drunkard. Your QB is erratic. Your QB had FIFTEEN dropped interceptions last year, lightning doesn't strike twice. And lastly, you've got an even bigger target on your backs from more popping off. Trust me, you're not better than you are a year ago.

Really? Well then I guess you should have nothing to worry about ... (Cue whistling past the graveyard).

Seems like we always point to the tough schedule...

Greeny is an annoying *******...i wish ppl would stop giving that crappy show ratings so it would cease to exist.

I don't understand why people suddenly expect us to suck horribly due to our quarterback situation. Other than 1 play from Pennington, our situation is very little different than it was a year ago. Its not like Henne is going to suddenly get much worse in his 3rd year starting.

I like our D too much to think we'll be that bad, but it's very possible for a stagnating team to quit on a lame duck coach. We may have improved from last year, but it's somewhat marginal and we're critically flawed at QB, OL, TE, and maybe RB. I wouldn't be shocked if we end up around 4 wins. But still look where these predictions are coming from. Mike and Mike is for morons.
