Mike Mccarthy Just Fired. Philbin Named Interim Hc.

Let's go Ross! That would be great for us!

Finish the season with McCarthy. There is no reason to keep Gase anyway.

So the Packers downgraded at Head Coach for the remainder of this season. Feel a little sorry for Packers fans. They still have Rodgers but watsted most of his prime years.

So GB fired their HC that won a super bowl with them but had a bad year. We're keeping Gase because he's have some injuries.....lol
It’s fng amazing isn’t it. Hey Ross get your head and ears outta your ass and wake the **** up

The Queesy One is the interim? Lmfao Rodgers may murder him.

I rarely post and for those of you that will say I should stay that way, I submit we Fire Gase and hire McCarthy immediately! This is a no brainer for obvious reasons that have been explained breathlessly all season! Make it happen before it’s too late!

You say that as if he was fired for an unjust reason.

Congrats to the FO of the Packers. They have cujones enough to do what's needed.

Difficult for me to gauge how McCarthy would fare elsewhere. But this is very surprising from Green Bay. That franchise has always owned the reputation of classy and patient and a cut above the norm, along with the Giants and Steelers and perhaps one or two others. Dallas would have qualified prior to Jerry Jones.

But this is a standard schlock move. You never want to cater to fans who overreact in either direction every week. I'm sure Green Bay will be condemned for this around the league, and rightfully so. A coach who has won a Super Bowl and been there that long deserved much more. Let him finish the season. This isn't college where you're worried about losing recruits.

The only exception would be if the Packers are actually considering Joe Philbin as a permanent replacement and want to get a look at him in the head coaching role. Difficult to believe that is true but you never know what the internal view of Philbin might be, along with the coaching relationship witj Aaron Rodgers. It is possible Green Bay believes Philbin is a much better coach than the personnel and quarterbacking here allowed him to display.

He was fired by GB today.
Would Ross be interested?
