Here is an interview with Miko Grimes that I think is pretty interesting. She explains that she has talked to numerous people in the Dolphin's organization and their opinions on Joe Philbin, Ryan Tannehill, the coaching staff, etc. As a Tannehill supporter, I found this to be pretty concerning. I think this is a pretty big deal because a player could not publically say the opinions within a locker room without getting in some serious trouble. However, Miko is close to most Dolphin players (this is well known) and she has no restrictions about what she says on the air. I recommend that everyone listens. Here is a brief summary:
The players that Miko has interviewed and survey have said they love Joe Philbin and the coaching staff. She said not a single person she talked to wants the coaching staff gone. She admitted that she mainly has discussed this with defensive players and only a few people from the offense. However, she make it very clear that the players do not feel the coaching staff is the issue here, nor do they want Philbin / Lazor / Coyle gone.
Then Big O asked her about Ryan Tannehill and if players within the organization have confidence that he is the franchise QB. Essentially she said there is a split amongst players about whether they believe in Ryan and whether they think he is the long term solution. She said numerous people do not feel confident when he is on the field.
In summary, she made it seem very troubling if he remains as the starting QB
