I understand that, but I am sure that a DL or OL player could do the job just as well. The OLiners know the plays and schemes, plug and play.

I can virtually guarantee you that none of Miami’s OL can do Ingold’s job with any sort of competency.

For what it’s worth, the FB role in a 21 scheme is vital to outside zone runs. There’s no way on God’s green earth an OL is lining up at lead blocker and engaging a SS/LB in run support.
