Minor update on Charles Clay

I think once you practice you're ineligible for PUP. I really hope Clay gets well before week 1.

How in the world do y'all conclude that he'll miss any regular season time or will return later than Pouncey based on this very little information???

The report said very clearly that he tried to run but almost immediately couldnt.

Knee sprains (if that's what this is) are just freaking weird. They swell, they linger, and then all of a sudden they can improve very rapidly. It happened to me this summer, the doc examined everything, and said "Yup, it's a sprain. You didn't tear anything. You'll know when it's ready to go."

It didn't get much better at all for three weeks, and then it resolved almost completely in three days. Clay is a professional athlete with professional trainers. Until people start using the word "tear" or "damage" in association with "knee", I wouldn't lose my mind over this.

Hopefully he will experience what you did because he is a catalyst for this offense. Hopefully it is something like what Hartline experienced 2 seasons ago. Did not participate in one offseason drill or preseason snap, then started and went on to have a career year.
