Jonathan Martin was a substandard left sided offensive tackle. He was being moved to the right side due to Tannehill's life being in danger during pass protection. Grave danger? ...Is there any other kind? We live in a world were we live and die by the blitz. Who's gonna protect Tannehill?... You Tyson Clabo? You John Jerry? Bryant McKinnie was signed to protect Tannehill's blind side with Jonathan Martin demoted ($ not $$$$) to right tackle.
