so hiring a big fat overwieght undermotivated RT seems obvious to you? There is a reason Ozzie Newsome has had his job so long....he gets it.
This move would have seemed obvious to me.

Well now that you put it like that I see your point...
Cmon dude, NOT drafting Pat White was obvious to me - you can go back nd pull up any of my old posts about it - I don't lie. I guess I do know better than Ireland, huh?
I'm kidding obviously but my real point is that I'm trusting Newsome's actions over Ireland's and I don't think that any objective NFL fan would disagree with me for that.
I guess I'll be the one to remind you that Bill Parcells drafted Pat White, not Ireland.
we can say "oh they should've brought this guy in or that guy, I bet he'd make a great player for us! but honestly, not everyone wants to come and play for us, we don't know if our people talked to his people, we don't know if he responded etc. I do know that a 400lb unmotivated lineman would not survive the next month in miami. Heck maybe he signed in baltimore because the weather is cooler this time of the year. Or maybe he sees them as being more championship ready?Well now that you put it like that I see your point...

Really tired of this stupid bull**** about how I don't know what I'm talking about somehow because I don't work as an NFL executive. No ****, Sherlock, neither do you, but you know who does?? Ozzie ****ing Newsome! And he has more evaluation skills in his pinky toe than Jeff Ireland has in his entire limited brain. I guess he doesn't know what he's talking about either, huh? Calling your argument childish is an insult to children.
How about everytime you want to bust out your pom poms for this bull**** regime whenever they draft or sign a 3-4 DE or a wildcat quarterback, I come out and scream "HOW THE **** DO YOOOUU KNOW IT WAS A GOOD MOVE??? LAST TIME I CHECKED YOU AREN'T A GM YA JACKASS!!!"
This **** goes both ways and to be honest, being on the "negative" side of this franchise allows me to either be right, or pleasantly suprised 100% of the time. Why else would I do it, other than to not get let down. Sure, its taxing to always look through **** colored glasses, but whatever bro, at least im never dissappointed!
I never said the LJ signing was a bad signing. I actually said that it isn't that big of a deal because I don't think it makes much of an impact one way or another. What I did say is that it reflects poorly on Daniel Thomas at this point in his development, the staff must not have much faith in the guy right now.
Mckinnie would have been a good signing because he would come cheap, he's obviously talented and we have tremendous needs where he would fit in... I think he would shed weight pretty damn quick in camp down in Miami as well.
It's also much much easier for an o-lineman to play deep into his 30s than it is for a RB. Don't understand why there's confusion with this.
Ireland is the GM so he's guilty too.

This **** goes both ways and to be honest, being on the "negative" side of this franchise's boneheaded decisions for the last ****ing decade, I've UNFORTUNATELY been right WAY more often than not! I'm not the one that needs to eat crow!
