Miami had 13 missed tackles vs Buff which is hard to believe for a NFL team. I saw a few by Grimes but, did not watch DB's or WR's much on the tape. PFF has him for 5. Is that accurate? Wilson had 2 and Starks 2 as well.

For the year, we have 23, Grimes with 6,Wilson with 5, and n one else with more than 2. Coaches keep working on this, it goes away only to return again and again. ho is at fault?

Nobody on our defense is a sure tackler. There is nobody that wraps up properly.

Grimes is the worst from the corners he never tries to wrap up just tries to hit the rb/wr with his shoulder. Our best tackler is Misi. Let that sink in..

I've seen Delmas make some good tackles too. Still can't figure out why hes not starting

I really like Misi, have since we first drafted him, and he does not get credit due from some. For the team, why do you think the missed tackles seem to come and go, to a degree? Is it matchups or, something else?

Delmas did start and played all 72 snaps on D vs KC, after Philbin said he would not. Thomas, who Philbin said would start because of "everything" played 4 snaps. Don't understand some of what Philbin is saying or why.

Oh ok, I missed the beginning of the game. I wish I would of missed the whole thing

I know the one where Davis gashed us and ran it down near the endzone for a huge chunk play, Grimes came in and hit Davis only to completely miss the tackle, allowing Davis to make a big gain and set up a TD.

Grimes is the most overrated player on the team. Well, that's assuming not many people still rate Tannehill highly. I was hoping for the annual most overrated/underrated thread because I wanted to name Grimes, like I listed Reshad Jones last year. I did mention a couple times that Grimes' reputation at the end of the season would not be the same as exiting last year.

He's an awful tackler. So many of our defensive backs merely dive at the legs instead of any type of form tackling but Grimes and Wilson take it to a new level. I'm actually looking forward to Jones' return so I won't have to watch Wilson swinging and missing. We'll know our talent level is improving once Jimmy Wilson is finally gone. Not to mention the reduction of the murderers per player ratio.

Grimes struggles with true #1 receivers. It's possible he can get a pick off someone like Derek Carr. He tries hard and will have some good moments. But he's hardly the difference maker type we need. That type will come when we finally draft a truly great player, and not find someone later in their career like Wake or Grimes.

Grimes is actually a pretty good tackler overall.

being pissed at grimes running full speed into Knile Davis and not knocking him over is ridiculous. THATS 180lbs vs 230lbs! that is a play a coach is happy with since 90% of the corners in this league wouldn't dare to his a guy like Knile Davis in the hole.

Grimes kept his contain and made Knile Davis cut back into the " heart" of our defense where he should have been swallowed up.

Jimmy Wilson Is far an away the worst tackler on this team.

Reshad Jones is a HUGE improvement from him.

Dude I understand your anger with the team right now but your smokin crack right now talking like that. Grimes is tiny. Yes he isn't a big tackler but for you to say he's not a playmaker is totally false. He is one of the biggest play makers on our team.

Well I saw some of those Grimes misses. He wrapped them up and tried but sometimes defenders are good at avoiding. FH makes me sick. I don't know why I bother coming on here anymore. We are all praising and saying give this man (GRIMES) a contract extension but when he misses a few tackles call for his head.
