wow. I would have to rewatch, but 2 seems low to me for the carolina game. wheeler makes a living out of being out of position, and when he does fill he doesn't tackle. once in a while he will blitz well, and I guess our guys fell in love with that.

what qualifies the PFF guys who do the stats over anybody else? just curious.

He was MUCH better vs run, in coverage, and pressure last year in Oak. It may be a year to adjust which has happened to many FA. We can only hope, because he will cost way too much to cut, and that would make no sense.

He was a liability there too...at least from what I saw...

I don't know what individual qualifications those who do the grading have, if they have played, coached or, are very knowledgeable fans who want to put in all the hours to grade every player on every play.

I've said that I believe that there are some posters here who could do the same or similar IF they were willing to put in the up to 10 hours it takes to do so. I'm sure some do it in less time, and it would depend on the game.

That sounds like a lot of time but, 600 minutes on an average of 135 snaps per game would give you under 5 minutes per snap to grade the 11 players on the field and everything else they include, like snaps per player, sacks, hits, hurries, etc, etc, etc.
 
Anyone want to still tell me Ellerbe and Wheeler were an upgrade? Didn't think so...

Did you miss Dansby's pick 6 yesterday, by the way?

Yeah I saw it...Andrew luck misses Reggie Wayne something fierce...that teams a pretender also and Trent Richardson shows zero vision with the ball...a bust
 
Missed tackles? Yes we do miss having competent offensive tackles on this team.

That was such a mistake by them. I think they thought it was a "missing piece", but all it was was a "miss"...Richardson has shown nothing. Goes to show the difference with having an OL that manhandles the other college teams can do. None of the Bama backs that looked so great in college have shown much lately...

Ingram needs to get out of New Orleans I'd sign him and let d Thomas walk this offseason... t rich is just not seeing the holes..running to contact

Indy though being without Wayne has caught up with them...not having him and Dwayne Allen has really shown lately...nothing they can do about it either...gonna win the division but not gonna contend

It is hard to really evaluate Ingram down in NO just because of the structure of their offense...they don't use him much. He was also out for quite a few games.

Bingo...my eval with him as a pro has always been he could do more with more opportunity...he has vision...

The battering ram like use he gets with the saints is not a great fit
 
Eddie Lacy appears to be a keeper, so it's not all Bama backs that are underperforming. Figured to face 8 in the box with Rogers down, but still had a solid game this past Sunday.
