I'd be real surprised if we went O-line now....I think we will go o-line in ***ency....we cut two starters today, no way are we going to try and replace one of them with a rookie....JMO...but WR is looking like a lock for the 20th pick.

I agree. Obviously, it's waaaaaaaaaay early in the off-season. I just felt he was the "best player available" at a position of need. I didn't think Rivers would be a good choice because of the investment in Feeley. I also didn't go with Vernon Carey because of injury concerns. I considered a versatile DL like Darnell Dockett but ultimately feel that Grove would be a better option long term at C than McKinney. Besides, McKinney will be RFA after 2004 and FA status often is part of the equation
 
I just traded CB Sam Madison and 3rd rd pick (#87) to SF for 3rd rd pick (#77) and 4th rd pick (#111).

Madison is worth more than just moving 10 spots higher in the 3rd round and a 4th rounder..

Hell, Harris was traded by Philly to GB last year for a 2nd rounder.

I'm glad you are not Miami's GM

Look at his salaries.......that's part of the motivation. I cleared oodles of cap space in the future and got something in return.

I also turned those 2 picks into a 2nd rd pick and draft DL Dockett.
