Monday Evening Camp Report

Wow great stuff Oz!

For those of you who think his reporting is easy and It's just a matter of writing down the stuff thats right in front of your face....you're wrong. Ozzy gets all the plays and theres four practices going at any one time! I'm a journalism major (and a former High School Sports Editor to boot) and the best I can get is the guy in white passed to another guy in white but a guy in green tried to stop it.

I love what you wrote about Carey. Sounds exciting!

Thanks man, but when I first started this over 10 years ago, it was pretty hard. I only bring a pen with me, and it pretty much stays in my pocket. I've gotten to the point where my mind just records the whole practice, then I play it back from the begining. I forget a lot of what I see, but the more time went on, the more info I was able to absorb.

btw, I left way early yesterday, and it took me forever to get there thru rain and rush hour traffic.

And just to add to that, Ozzy doesn't use a pen and paper. He only uses his noggin!!

Great report!!

thems the facts. I learned to use the brain as a cam corder, so to speak.

Hey! When you gonna make it down?

Totally agree with this. I was a sports reporter as well for a small-time Upstate NY paper. Taking in and analyzing this stuff isn't easy. To do it with such detail and usefulness is something to be admired. I'm new to this site, but I'm stuck for life thanks to things like this!

Thanks for the report Oz!! Like all other "out-of-staters" have said - it helps when we can't get there ourselves.

Hope everyone enjoys, and remember that these are just one fans opinions, not a paid professional. Take these reports all with grain of salt. I'm just trying to wet the appetite.

peace.

i think i would rather here from a fan, especially a knowledgable fan who knows what we all are looking for. thanks for the info. since i am unable to be there, it's the next best thing.

Man being from New Mexico not much info gets out here other than the donkeys and cowgirls. This rocks! One big head bang for Ozzy!

The fight was actually stockar and roth......... Also not sure why your giving Seth more credit, Manny wright ate him for lunch twice, was in the backfield before the ball carrier could do anything. Seth was awful. Agree with your assesment of the QB's and Wideouts.

Hey Ozzy where do you sit for practice Ill be down again Friday nioght would love to chat with another finheaven member.

Your right, I 've been to a few Dolphin practices and it is hard, if not impossible, to follow everything.

Yeah, she turns seven-months next week. I'm ordering her cheerleader outfit soon - she can wear it on some Sundays, and on Halloween. Wife shakes her head when I mention it - but she's going along! Good luck with the baby! It's amazing, trust me!!!

Great report as always Ozzy. You rock and I value your reports much more than your so called professional "paid" reporters.

I've been saying that for years. These "pros" are too busy trying to write some cutsey crap and impress each other with their creativity that they fail, miserably, in providing the sort of detailed reports from camps that our own fans write.

I got mine a UM leather jacket even tho it was too big and she's a girl. I also saw the UM cheerleader outfit, very cute. I love the fins but I love UM just a tad more. Mine's almost 4 down (jacket might fit this winter) and I will teach her to love all Miami sports :)
