Monday Morning Quarterbacking

Why we didn't draft a QB still boggles my mind. I was thinking....why did we draft Roth? I mean I love his intensity and I think he has good potential...but did we really need him? We have like 10 different defensive ends.....

I just read that AJ is getting 18 mil..............I'm shocked....this guy has shown us nothing, and I've never liked his attitude in the interviews he's given....anyone know how much we're paying Gus?

We should be paying Gus more!!!!........Just to get the hell out of Miami!!!!!

Its just another case of favoritism and someone being dragged along on our OC's coat tails with the promise of being the starter. Well if Gus knows the system so well, then it's obvious, HE REALLY SUCKS!!!! I think they should stick with the kid (AJ) up until the Atlanta game he played better than a QB that is suppose to know the system better. Heck, although he threw an interception at least he moved the team and put up 3- so I guess he out played him again. Yea it's ineviable that Gus will start because that was the plan all along but knowing that were still in need of a real QB brings us to our very next BIG PROBLEM. Do we really want this a**clown teaching our #1 draftpick QB next year the "system" he cant even play well??? - I dont think so. Thats right #1 pick b/c with Gus we'll be lucky if we win one game but hopefully Marino will be ready to start coaching our QB's next year-you know thats whats gonna happen,it's only a matter of WHEN.

Wah, Wah, Wah....Conspiracy against AJ....Wah, Wah, Wah. Haven't we seen enough of these posts already?

I, too, was thinking about what if with Bledsoe. Not a multi year contract, just something to tie us over. He's got the ability more so then what we have now. But then I look at it differently.
He was wanting a long term contract, more then 1 year. He wanted more money and with our cap plus draftees plus other signing it didn't seem logical. He also wanted to play for his former coach, and vice versa.
Its an idea, just not one that would play out.

Seeing as how none of those 4 will be the future of this team I don't really care which of them is Quarterbacking us. What we do NEXT year with our QB position will speak more towards our direction than Gus, A.J., Drew, or Kurt.

I had a dream we signed Bledsoe to a one year deal and drafted Orton in the 2nd round........too bad I woke up to the nightmare of Gus/Feeley.

our road to the superbowl involves more than one year.

besides, so now we want bledsoe? lets give him 45 sacks now.

The only problem is if we went after those QB's and they played like Frerotte and AJ have played to this point ppl like you would b!itch because we didn't sign Frerotte!

I'm sure they'd *****, but not about losing out on Ferrotte!

Well......... We had Griese who was proven (a former pro bowler) but that didn't exactly work out now did it???? I mean sure he'd be a much better option than what we have right now, and I still wish he was here, but he's not, and they DID pick up a proven starter a couple of years ago

Yeah. But the problem is, Wannstedt had a record of making Great/Good/Marginal Qb's look so bad, you'd use their Upper Deck cards as toilet paper. You see, that's why I never really hated Feidler or Feeley. Heck, even Sage got screwed by Wannstedt. (Sage was brought from Arizona, where he had the chance to start).

It is hilarious that everyone loves orton lets just see how he plays when REAL GAMES START. I am willing to bet 100 dollars he will not throw over 220 yds or more than 2 tds and will not win more than half of his starts.
