Monday Night Countdown slams everyone involved...

I'm all for biting your tongue until all the cards are on the table, but just because a guy is nice to some people doesn't mean he's automatically a good guy.

Did not say that. I did not say Incognito was not a mean guy. However, we are 48 hours into this and NOBODY on the record or off on this team has **** on Incognito. NONE. Why?

watching philbin's presser today he comes off as such an emotionless doofus its mind boggling. this guy couldnt lead the blind nonetheless a pro football team. not hard to see why martin wouldnt talk to him. the one guy who should have stepped up and intervened was pouncey, a so called team leader and supposed elite player. this whole organization is an afterthought and embarrassment.

He came off well spoken and strong to me but to each his own.

Nick Saban cares about players?

Bwahahahahhahahhaha!

Didn't he step over a player who was convulsing in the locker room? Good one Carter!

I love how everybody jumps to conclusions.
exactly. i admit, i did at first too but i had to take a step back since all this new stuff coming out... this is crazy... but thats what happens when theres no leadership. this cant go away fast enough. but yeah, carter is a duche bag anyway so who cares what this dude says... problem is alot of ppl hear what he says and just takes it for face value... media at its finest... smh

Will the NFL create the "Jonathan Martin" anti-pranking rules. What a legacy to leave.

He didn't trust Philbin because when Reggie Bush Karlos Dansby and Jake Long approached Philbin they were all sent packing. He did not want to be cut for speaking up. I am sure this will come up in court.

Bush and Long weren't sent packing. They chose other teams to join. Dansby was cut.

I will admit it so funny to hear your opinion on the press conference. How you feel couldn't be more opposite of how I felt. I guess you have to love opinions.

Tom Jackson, Cris Carter and Keyshawn ripped Incognito from pillar to post over him being racist and a bully.

However the most passionate words, and impactful, came from Carter when talking about how nobody else knew. How this is also on Pouncey and Tannehill, and other leaders on the team. These guys are a unit and somehow were blind to just who Ingocnito really is. Carter then went on to slam Philbin. Saying the reason coaches are great is because their players trust them. The reason Philbin didn't know is because Martin never told him. Why didn't he tell him? It is because he didn't trust Philbin enough to confide in him. Carter talked more about how the best coaches (Parcells, Bellichick, Saban) get the most out of their players because of the trust that is there and Philbin doesn't have that.

Carter brought up some very valid points. Further states just how messed up this situation is and just how deep through our organization our problems go.

Uh, that's all fine and good but those coaches mentioned have all had players with their own issues and in regards to the players 'trusted them', I doubt that. A lot of players that played for those coaches despised them and I doubt trusted them at all. Nick Saban? I mean, c'mon.

I think the timetable went something like this...players were pranked etc..all along etc..Martin participated in pranks as well..Incong. did some stupid stuff (beyond stupid) along the way like the voicemails etc...something pushed Martin to the brink maybe demoted from LT...at first Incog. and team thought hey Martin just lost it..thus Incog. looking for an apology and Dolphin statement that they are here to help Martin etc and no mention of Incog. guilt..then Martin feels like all the facts are not out and pulls up old stuff that directly show what was done to him in the past by Incog...Dolphins act when they get these and suspend Incog. I think some of the players might be thinking hey Martin seemed fine at the time and all along then wham he snapped and he is bringing others down with him and the players are not happy about it.

That's a serious claim by them and you.

Maybe. Rookie hazing will become defined in specific ways or outright stopped. While they are at it wonder if they will create a no tolerance rule for the use of the "N" word? Apparently according to Tom Jackson oonly white guys are racist even though all races use it.

The segment a few minutes ago was terrific, IMO, with no holds barred and some valuable insight from Bill Polian. He emphasized that hazing was not tolerated in his lockerrooms, a lesson he learned from Bill Walsh and Marv Levy. Their philosophy was everyone was on the same team and the focus had to be working to make everyone better, not tactics like hazing with dubious value and potential division. Those final words are mine but they were strongly implied in the segment. Polian said hazing is still practiced in the NFL but in diminishing numbers. I suspect, and hope, that this will take it even further, possibly with Goodell involved.

Keeshawn ripped Jeff Ireland, saying he was responsible for bringing Incognito to the team, while listing Incognito's problems everywhere he's been. Keeshawn denounced Ireland's tenure in general.

Ditka said it made no sense to have Incognito on the team because her's not exactly a Hall of Fame player, more like Hall of Shame.

You know what is too bad from you post...it was not Ireland that brought Incognito in, it was Keyshawn's boy Bill Parcells.

Chew on this if we want to dive into race issues...

What a complete insult by Keyshawn.

I saw the show and all of them made excellent points. If you watched that and think they're full of ****, you are beyond help.
