Moore may be closer to starting than you think

lol, failed to beat out.

was he given a chance vs any of those qbs to realistically win the qb position?

u mention chad henne as an example, everyone knew he was better than chad henne, and sure enough he proved just that in real games, yet i guess according to your logic he was not better because he did not beat him out?

if u think he was actually given a chance vs henne and tannehill, ur lost.

especially tannehill, the coaching staff put all there hopes into tannehill, no way they were letting moore win the job. As you can see now, moore coming off that 2011 season, at the very least should have been the starter to begin 2012, not tannehill, because tannehill clearly was not ready, and prob never will have what it takes to be a legit qb in the nfl.

And the QB's prior to Tannehill and Henne? Why was he undrafted again? I guess losing his job to Clauson was unwarranted as well?

It was unwarranted. If you actually followed them that season you'd know it.

That post is full of it. He was never allowed to compete with Henne or practice with the 1's. He was signed in August in 2011 and Sparano was going down with the ship with Chad. It wasn't until his injury when Moore finally got his shot and of course showed why he should've started the season as our QB.

In 2012, the team all but tried to force Matt out the door when they brought Garrard on for that farce 3-way competition which ultimately led to the decision they were already prepared to make when Tanny was drafted at #8.

He was still a project when he was playing under those QB's at Carolina. When he was finally given a shot towards the end of 2009 he played wonderfully. They then drafted Jimmy Clausen, forced him to compete again. Named him the starter and within 7 games he suffered a concussion and torn labrum, followed by a Panthers team that quit and was injury riddled. Fox had his foot out the door. Then came another new regime and Cam Newton.

Right. None of those coaches ever wanted to keep their job enough to start the best QB on their roster. It was Moore the whole time.

Moore wasn't ready start right when he got to Carolina. He needed the reps and experience. Then once he got it Fox bailed on him too soon to try to save his ass with Clausen.

He gets to Miami and he deals with two knucklehead coaches going down with the ship with the boys they drafted. Sorry you don't understand the politics that go on in football.

I understand perfectly. I also know that Moore has been around people who make their living evaluating talent for 7 years now, and no one has managed to see the super bowl contender he really is. It is a great conspiracy though.

And those same talent evaluators who are clearly fallible, not to mention STUBBORN. Proof was in the 2011 season.
