More conspiracy with the Patriots...

Well I could be wrong but when I counted the 12 men there were 4 DL 4 LBs and 4 DBs. But as for the rest there is no way we should be talking refs in this game. Elerbee clearly turned the TE on the next to last play, and Will Davis could have easily been called in the play he defended. I will agree the Browns game was BS but so was the last play in the panthers/pats game. The pats got royally screwed in that game, so I really don't see it being a big issue. Give credit where credit is due, they have been the team to beat and have played winning football for a decade now. They are where we hope to be, and I think we are heading. Lets stop all this whining. If a fan base should be crying over calls in THAT game it isn't ours.

There were calls missed both ways and quite honestly, it was nice to see the refs not be so ticky tack.

No offense, but why are you bringing this up? We won didn't we? You would think we lost by bringing up these "non-calls".

It's a forum, we're here to discuss and it's relevant. To your point I'm sure if you went back and looked at the other side you would see a similar pattern. That's just football, there's plenty of missed calls every game so in the grand scheme of things I was extremely impressed with the officiating last Sunday.

he points it out, because you have to beat the team, the bias calls and the cameras.

bad calls beat us in our last game.

there's diffinetly a bias.

Missed calls and bad calls are part of the game. I don't mind that as long as the refs are making the same calls both ways. It's when they are lopsided in favor of one team or the other that things get screwed up. Just keep it balanced and it's fair to both teams.

The Refs are BECOMING the story this season instead of being part of it. I would much rather have a game played where I barely knew they were on the field instead of having them affect the outcome which they have done very often across the league this year.
For those who say it does not matter as long as you win what about next week? You may have overcome this week but that next game that is critical to get in playoffs gets determined by a bad call. Not so calm about it then huh?

I think the NFL should grade the Refs every week and expose them if they are not making the right calls consistently...That's what they get paid to do. I can think of one guy right off the bat I hate to see call Miami games...I hold my breath on every pass into the secondary waiting for flag & the phantom PI call.

you wouldn't be talking about Gene Steratore, would you?

On the 12 men play I noticed the 5 missing too... except I noticed it because the 5 quickly turned into the 6 right after they put it on the screen. I thought the same thing at first too that the tv crew might've just been covering up for the refs mistakes... but then rethought it and figured maybe the linemen were just so close that the 6 covered up the 5 or something along those lines. Didn't have time to actually count the players myself as it was too late by the time I realized the 5 thing to recount them all.

Refs are going to have a hard time deciding who to help more when the Ravens play the Patriots.

Meh...If the refs would have called PI on the deep pass to Wallace it would have been a weak call IMO. I don't have a problem with the non-call there, it is still football.
