Moreno and Kuhn

in 2015 yes, but this class sucks. Would be better off brining in Moreno or Donald Brown for a 1-2 year contract

I don't think the Colts are going to let Donald Brown go anywhere. He's their #1 back and Trent Richardson has look more like Patricia Richardson.

I'm very skeptical of Moreno. Peyton makes things too easy for him.

donald brown is ugh anyways...

That's what I'm saying. It's A. Moreno for 2 years B. Brown for 1 year C. Seastrunk in the draft or D. Thomas/Miller and Todd Gurley/Melvin Gordon/ Mike Davis/TJ Yeldon in 2015 draft. I want Moreno for a year or 2 then Gurley, Gordon, or Davis in the future.

Pretty sure Brown averaged 5.0 per carry with 0 fumbles.. he's a lot better than DT or Miller.

I'll tell you who actually intrigues me, even though it would make people around here groan: Toby Gerhart.

I think the comparison to Peterson has made him look worse than he actually is, because this is a guy who's averaged 4.7 yards per carry for his career (compared to 5.0 for Peterson), including 7.9 ypc last year. He had a huge workload in college but in the pros he's never had more than 109 attempts in a season (average 4.9 ypc that year), which means he should have a ton of tread left on the tires (he'll be 27 in March).

I think this is my new favorite FA running back. He'd complement well with Miller and probably relish the chance to get more work than he's had in Minnesota. Plus you wouldn't think he'd cost very much.

I would have him #3 after Moreno and Brown, but he would be the best running back on our roster.

Put D Brown behind that 2013 Dolphins line and then see what he gets... People bash our Rb's when they had 0 holes and 0 blocking in front of them.. I'll judge Miller when I see him behind a real NFL offensive line and not the replacements Oline.

i would take a 2 year shot at moreno with the option to get out after the first year before any of these other guys names i've seen...but is it really a good fit opposite lamar miller??? probably not

just not many options out there...may have to be 2015s real upgrade...

Moreno knows how to make a cut and get downhill. Miller is so indecisive. 2015 is loaded with RBs.. Gurley, Gordon, Davis, Yeldon, would be picks 1-4 for RB next year.

Dixon would be a better fit imo. Ijs

Honestly Dixon is a guy you could maybe bring into camp...but even tho he was a guy I liked out of the draft he hasn't shown me enough or been enough of a gamebreaker to be plan A to pair with Lamar. I do however want to take the FA route, and I really think this team needs a huge back, like a 230+ guy. We need to grind out tough yards, break tackles and pass protect. Moreno would be a great fit, I don't think you can overlook what he's done this season but if he gets like a Reggie Bush contract I'm not interested. That leaves me with three guys I'd consider, Blount, Brown and Gerhart. The first 2 are much higher up there for me (gonna watch some old Vikes games tho), Brown and Blount run with power, entering a prime age and can pass protect. I also think you can get them at an affordable rate. In the draft there's really only one guy who has stuck out to me as a pounder at RB and that's Carlos Hyde, if we don't add anyone in FA that's who I'd target. Plus as people have mentioned 2015 RB class is loaded. Like Kuhn a lot too, would be a great fit. This team needs a FB.

You know, that's interesting. He's not what I'd call shifty, but if you brought in Gerhardt then drafted someone like, oh I don't know, D'Anthony Thomas, thunder and lightning...

I like the Geihart idea a lot. Every time AP is out, he does a very admirable job filling in. He runs just as hard as AP and has some deceptive speed. And picking him up alleviates the need for a RB until about the 4th or 5th round where you would be able to pick up D'Anthony Thomas. (As stated above)

Nobody has mentioned my favorite fix at RB yet so I will. This RB is 6'0 242lbs and has great feet, runs hard and always gets the extra yard and has good hands. This mans name is CARLOS HYDE from Ohio State. From what I saw from him this year, this kid is going to be a beast. He is very nimble and quick for a guy of his size. He also doesn't have a ton of wear and tear on his body and averaged 7.3 yards per carry this year. His worst year he averaged 5.3 yards per carry and in the last 2 years he had 31 TD's Rushing! The guy finds pay dirt!
