Schefter is claiming Ireland impressed Fisher to the point that if he was available he would hire him as GM. That could make it easier to trade with us in the draft.

they didnt say they were going after rg3, schefter said ross and ireland want to get a qb and ireland went to baylor. basically just hinting at it. scheft said there will a lot of competition for st louis' pick

i do find it odd that fisher didnt opt for miami because ireland was in control of the roster yet he wants him as the gm in stl. i know fisher wants to control the roster but something is not adding up with those 2 reports. dont really matter at this point but somehow if those guys meeting up gets us the stl pick , i'll be happy.

This helps the Rams by putting heat on other teams that want the #2 pick but only hurts us.

If he was so impressed with Ireland, and would hire him as GM, then why the hell didn't he sign here. If he was that impressed I think they could have worked out the pecking order quite easily.
 
Something just doesn't sound right. ... If I was Ireland, not sure I would want to work with Fisher, based on the fact he feeels he (Fisher) HAS to have Final Say.
Then again.... I wonder if FIsher was impressed enough to trade the second pick straight up for Ireland.
 
if you want to go all out for RG3 at #2, why not go all out for LUCK at #1...........
