The Colts have basically said and floated everywhere that they are taking Luck. While I think it's possible that they might be trying to drive up the bidding price, it was Jim Irsay who originally tweeted it while he was drunk. And Irsay isn't known for being particularly bright, subtle or sober.
 
Something doesnt add up here... If fisher was that impressed with ireland fisher would have came here. I think through out this saga the rams were in fishers heart the whole time. Just how this league works. Im ready to have a coach in place and start speculating the draft free agency wich opens march 3. So much to be excited for.
 
Trade up with the Rams...take Blackmon, hire Philbin and bring in M. Flynn...

Yeah that would be good. That would leave us with a Receiving Core of Hartline, Bess, Gates, Moore. Who in that group scares defenses?

Bess. I can't understand why he doesn't get the credit from some of you. The guy is a top notch slot receiver. He would get swarmed if Marshall was gone........and then Hartline would have a 1000 yard season and show all the haters that he can play. We would have our own Jordy Nelson.

But trading Marshall would be stupid.........our biggest and most legit offensive threat?? Not a good idea.
 
You do not fire your Vice President and GM if you want to keep your organization on the same path.

Anyone thinking the Colts are not drafting Luck #1 haven't watched football in the past 20 years. It's just that simple.
 
Wouldn't this be "collusion" if Fisher and the Phins worked out some kind of deal for RG3/Bradford, and maybe this deal was cooked up during the discussion of head coaching positions?
