Mort Report on ESPN News

That's why those guys play defense. Cause they know nothing about offense.

Good Friggin' point.

AJ is NOT the problem. The Oline is. Chambers admitted that the INt returned for a touchdown was more his fault than AJ's. Granted AJ struggled, but the kid is definitely our future. Sam Madison is dead wrong here. And he expects us to go back to Jay Fiedler? No thanks. I'd rather struggle through AJ"s growing pains than through Jay Fiedler's excruciating passes.

We will be getting back a ton of players this week, we're facing another rookie QB and our Oline might be upgraded - provided DW opens his eyes. McIntosh and Carey on the corners will be a big improvement.

This is a must win this week mainly for confidence's sake. If we can pull out a W, it will help heading into the New York game. A loss to the Steelers and it will be very difficult to beat the Jets.

Go Phins. I still believe in you...

A few WINS will cure this nonsense. We gave Fiedler 4 years, let's give AJ at least 4 games.
Fiedler produced wins...if Feeley gets an 11-5 record like Fiedler did his first season, you would be all over his stuff...

Jay has had his day. Feeley is the guy we win or lose with. Get the OL to be at least average, and this would be a good enough offense to beat the weaker/average teams on our schedule.

It may be that neither Jay or AJ are the answer at QB, but we gave up a starting contract and second rounder for Feeley, so we need to find out.

Then at least we know what we need for next season.

Wanny needs to make some adjustments on the OL and show some fire! :fire: Those guys must not accept being shoved around every game and thinking they can keep a position as a starter. I don't care if we need to go out and get some old vet guys -which the Bengals did by-the-way. Their center was Fontenot (sp?) who had TWO days to get ready to play. I think he did okay, which shows you why a veteran player can be nice to have.

Lots of people raved about how Rick got a bunch of young guys, but we are seeing why a mix of youth and vets is preferable.

Great post, I agree with you 100%.... the only way we will see a win is with those O/L changes. I just can't believe that with DW's job on the line he is that stupid to not make those changes.....let's hope!

ESPN has been making jokes and criticizing this team all offseason and now were supposed to listen to this crap. Beside most of those idiots on ESPN were all horrible NFL players. Thats why they are on the sideline reporting instead of being on the bench.

We should put Wade Smith on the D-line. He has had 2 games of studying guys hit our qB, he should be a master at it by now.

yeah I just saw that. I have a friend that travels with the team and he said that Wanny sounded like he was crying in the locker room and that he got the same feeling about the players and how they feel about AJ.

Crying? OMG, that is so pathetic. He's probably going to crack. There is only so much a positive natured person can take before they simply let loose. Dave is going to snap. I can't believe he cried tho. See, he doesn't have enough balls, enough back bone, enough or hell any anger.

It's easy to blame the new guy no one knows and haven't proven or earned anything. I think the next few games will define this season and franchise for the next few years.

Remember how bad the OL looked when Brian was under center while the same OL looked competent with Jay under center?

As with Brian, opposing defenses know they only have to send in the house down after down because AJ simply cannot deal with the pressure and is too immobile to evade the pressure...

Like it or not, Jay is the heart of an otherwise poor offense.

Madison and McMike going off on their teammates is only the beginning...

:shakeno:

OH DB give it up Explain fiedlers performance in the first half against the Titans

QBR of 8.0, but thats not Jays fault that was every one elses that he went 5-13 a fumble for a loss and 2 int's

No one questions Jay's Heart it's there its one of the best in the league, however we can't say the same for his skill and talent

Why not put Jay in, he gives us a better chance to win. Feeley isn't ready to play at this level.

Now, the reason why I say start Jay: Start him and see what happens. Come seasons end, why not re-address the QB situation. I don't care what kind of pick we gave up for this putz, it's not worth hangin onto either of these guys.

Cut em both and start over!!

4 years of "seeing what happens" not enough for you, huh?
Interesting.
