Mort said nfl wants to restore once proud franchise, says ireland is gone

No. What from my post said that? I believe there should be a president of the organization that coordinates both the football and business side.

Yep.

Have a vice president of football ops (GM) role who reports to President....

Have a vice president of business who also repots to President...

Coach reports to VP of football ops.

Reading alot today how the NFL thinks there is no clear organization here and Ross is an absentee owner...

Need a strong President and then let that guy hire GM/Coach and go...

Does this mean we will be getting all kinds of good calls from the officials, aiding our run to 3 super bowl wins in four years....restoring a once proud franchise? Good, sign me up!

Whoa now...I'll take just one super bowl win and I'll be set for life...

and mortenson has been proven an idiot before. Its because this is what ESPN is pushing.

Now there is a malicious attack by someone else on the team. Hope it was on the football field if true.

The Wells investigation has not yet started but Mort has already been informed of the outcome and the subsequent consequences that the NFL will force our owner to fire the GM and probably the coach. This is ridiculous. Either the Wells investigation is a sham or Mort is just speculating, trying to fuel a pernicious rumor. Methinks it's just the latter.

ESPN all day tommorrow will start to turn there focus on management. They all are showing their colors before monday morning hits. And the game is on ESPN.

I think I have to give them the ratings and watch because I want to document everything they say. Colin Cowherd tommorrow will spin some more taking the Fox interview and poo poo it on the way to bashing management and rehashing everything bad Incognito did which was apparently using the N-word.

I just want the list from the commission already. the drip and drag is nothing but lawyers pushing public opinion. Well, that took a hit today. Then ESPN keeps hitting on the next bad thing....management. Someone gonna pay....for what we may never know. Yeah they will have a report....probly in lawyer language. How much of this was done in building?

I for one think the NFL will not have much substance when the report comes out and will just use language that convicts people but no internal evidence given. It will be meant for the media to push. Nothing with integrity, because Goodell is a rat too.

If Ross changed coaches than Tony Dungy would be a slam dunk in terms of respectability and getting the NFL hawks out of Davie.

That is one of the all-time idiotic statements I've read on here.

actually, its not. It shows hypocrisy and how teams get treated differently than others in the media and the league.

Agreed!
Why don't you have a thanks icon? You would have a bunch from me today if you did.

He said he would never return. He also said he was approached by a couple of teams and he vehemently declined. No chance he comes back to coaching. I think the same for Cowher.
