Moses Now Better Than Martin? This Draft Scaes Me.

Trading down if u get value is best option. IF Martin is there take him

I think Moses has a high ceiling. If you look at his best football, I think it might be better than Martin. Martin, though, is more consistent and doesn't have the wide peaks and valley's so to speak. I also think Moses is a RT, while Martin is probably best suited for guard. That might be the mindset of some GM's as well. If Miami does take Martin at #19, I'd assume they view him as a RT.

What happened to Anthony Barr? At one point there were debates whether he or Clowney were better.

That's my mindset. If teams are over drafting O-line, LB's and DB's are falling.

I really hope that is the case. Between Mosely, Shazier, and Borland - those are 3 studs that we can use. i hope we get one of them, if not two of them in the top 3 rounds.

I doubt barr falls that far. people are overthinking this. He is isn't a combine star so he is dropping on some mocks.
I personally think he will be a better NFL player than Dion Jordan

Not to down play Moses' talent but I think this has more to do with UVA's success with the OL.

Albert(MIA), D'Brick Ferguson(NYJ), and Monroe(BAL) are all starting LT's and pretty good.

That is a pretty impressive trio. Has there been continuity in the O-line coaching since then? Excuse my ignorance. I don't tend to follow UVA very closely. However, I understand Thomas Jefferson ensured very high quality water supply in Charlottesville.

Totally agree. I think Barr is a comparable talent to Mack, though less polished, and I've been shocked to see Mack going at 2 and 3 in mocks and Barr falling even past us. I doubt that'll happen in the actual draft.

This is why you trust your big board and not everyone else's. If your scouts do their homework, then cheating off everyone else's paper isn't necessary.

I doubt the board posted by the OP will sway the Fins front office one way or the other.

Why does the draft scare anyone...

All we have to go on in the Media's opinion on these....hopefully the Dolphins have their rankings and stick to them...

I'll be honest, Alabama Defensive players scare me. They are playing with so much talent around them that it hides weaknesses in their game. I don't like that almost all Alabama defensive players who have come into the league lately haven't performed all that great. Over the last 5 years they have had tons of guys drafted but none have turned into studs. The best guy in my opinion is Dareus and he wasn't worth the 3rd pick that year. This makes me not want Mosley. Borland is a nice player but nothing special in my mind. He will get his tackles but will not change a game. Shazier could be a stud but I'd rather take any of the LBs in this draft in the 2nd. If Mosley or Shazier were there in the 2nd I'd go for it. In the first if your not willing to take the best guard in the draft at 19 I feel the same about the best LB this year. Not one of them is Lewis or Willis type player.
